Marcy

Associate Center Director

Marcy was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and subsequently obtained two master's degrees: one in Elementary Education and another in Administrative Education Leadership, which included a Principal Licensure. Her extensive teaching career spans 24 years in middle school classrooms across New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Following her time in the classroom, Marcy served as a principal for 11 years. In 2020, she relocated to Jacksonville and has been a valued member of the Mathnasium team since 2022. She enjoys helping students discover the "magic" of math, and secretly loves seeing the occasional lightbulb moment go off – it's way more fun than grading papers!

Lauren

Lauren developed a passion for math education during her first two years of high school, and it continued throughout her college years. She believes that math is meant to be challenging and enjoyable, not frustrating and scary. Since starting at Mathnasium in 2011, Lauren has enjoyed the continued success of her students and inspiring them to love math.
