Laurel is the dedicated Center Director at Mathnasium, bringing a passion for helping students excel in math.
Laurel was born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated from the University of North Florida in 2016 with two Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She taught Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II for Duval County Public Schools for three years.
In 2020 she became the Center Manager for a local Atlanta Mathnasium and has been with the company ever since. Laurel is passionate about helping students through Mathnasium in her hometown, and outside of work her hobbies include cooking, going to the beach, and traveling.

Marcy was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and subsequently obtained two master's degrees: one in Elementary Education and another in Administrative Education Leadership, which included a Principal Licensure. Her extensive teaching career spans 24 years in middle school classrooms across New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Following her time in the classroom, Marcy served as a principal for 11 years. In 2020, she relocated to Jacksonville and has been a valued member of the Mathnasium team since 2022. She enjoys helping students discover the "magic" of math, and secretly loves seeing the occasional lightbulb moment go off – it's way more fun than grading papers!
Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused on Math Education and Psychology. She has mastered math skills in the areas of College Algebra, Calculus I through Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics I and II.
Lauren developed a passion for math education during her first two years of high school, and it continued throughout her college years. She believes that math is meant to be challenging and enjoyable, not frustrating and scary. Since starting at Mathnasium in 2011, Lauren has enjoyed the continued success of her students and inspiring them to love math.
Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College. She graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College.
Jodi has been teaching for twenty years, and she has taught all levels from eigth grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes every student can succeed and excel with proper tools and support.
