Brad is the Owner and Learning Director at Mathnasium of Beachwood. Before opening the center, he taught middle and upper elementary students as a Montessori teacher. He holds an MBA from Emory University and a B.A. in Sociology from Miami University.
Having loved math as a child, Brad is passionate about teaching it in ways that make sense to students. He has worked with children of all ages and is committed to sharing the Mathnasium Method™ with families in his community. Favorite Math Joke: What number should never be discussed at dinner? 288 — it’s two gross.
Anna is a senior at Orange High School currently taking Multivariable Calculus. She has loved AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics, and she enjoys working with others through peer tutoring and student teaching at her synagogue.
Outside the classroom, Anna is part of the Lionettes Drill Team and plays cello in her school orchestra and CYO. After graduation, she plans to major in Biochemistry on a Pre-Med track. Favorite Math Joke: Never get into an argument with a 90-degree angle — they’re always right!
Garrett is a graduate of Davidson College, where he earned his B.A. in Economics and Pre-Medicine. Having once struggled with math, he is especially committed to helping students build confidence and succeed.
When he isn’t at Mathnasium, Garrett works as an EMT and is preparing to apply to medical school. He also enjoys hockey, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends. Favorite Math Joke: What did the 0 say to the 8? Nice belt!
Neel is a third-year student at Case Western Reserve University studying Biochemistry, Psychology, Spanish, and Public Health. A lifelong math enthusiast, he has competed in contests across the region and loves sharing that curiosity with students. At Mathnasium, he helps learners build number sense and problem-solving confidence through clear, approachable explanations.
He brings patience and energy to each session, using step-by-step strategies and pattern-spotting to make tough topics manageable and even fun. Outside Mathnasium, he solves Sudokus, explores data science, and spends time with friends. Favorite Math Joke: Why did I divide sin by tan? Just cos.
Armaani is a student at Aurora High School who takes AP and honors-level math classes. She has a passion for STEM and five years of robotics experience, which she brings to her teaching.
Outside of school, Armaani enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and music. She loves tutoring because it allows her to share her enthusiasm for problem-solving with others. Favorite Math Joke: Did you hear about the mathematician who’s afraid of negative numbers? He’ll stop at nothing to avoid them.
