Dawn has over 40 years of experience in education and holds a master’s degree from Kent State. She taught high school science for 15 years, focusing on physical science, which strengthened her passion for math-based learning.
Now the proud owner of a Mathnasium center, Dawn is thrilled to combine her love of teaching and mathematics. She lives with her family on a small hobby farm and is dedicated to helping students understand math in a fun, supportive environment.
Micha is a Summit County native and a graduate of Ohio Virtual Academy. She brings seven years of experience in early childhood education and learning centers.
Micha is passionate about advocating for students with neurodevelopmental differences and loves helping children learn in ways that meet their needs. She enjoys studying science and history and finds it incredibly rewarding to guide students toward the math understanding they may have missed in school.
Joey graduated from Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio, and is currently studying mathematics at Kent State Stark. He has a long-standing love for math and was active on his school’s math team.
With experience in tutoring, Joey enjoys helping students understand new concepts and gain confidence in their abilities. When he’s not teaching, he likes spending time with family, working out, and reading.
Domenico is a junior at Lehman High School in Canton and a proud member of the McKinley marching band trumpet section. He has had a strong passion for math and logical thinking for as long as he can remember.
He believes all students should understand the importance of math and enjoys helping them explore mathematical reasoning in new ways. Domenico brings energy and enthusiasm to every session.
James is a senior at Early College @ Lehman and also takes classes at Stark State College. He views math problems as puzzles and enjoys the satisfaction of solving them.
His favorite subject is Physics, where he sees math applied in everyday situations. In his spare time, James enjoys reading the Bible, playing tennis, and spending time with friends. He finds joy in helping students experience that “aha” moment at Mathnasium.
