Marcelo

Marcelo is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland in College Park to earn his bachelor’s degree in information science. He is most passionate about helping the students because he wants them to be confident enough to do math on their own. Marcelo has been assisting friends and families in math for quite some time, and now he would like to take this opportunity to help others. One of Marcelo’s interests is solving puzzles. Some puzzles that he enjoys are Rubik’s Cubes, escape rooms, and math! The number 3 is Marcelo’s favorite because he is the third oldest out of 7 siblings!

Hello! I'm Sky and my hobbies include coding, playing volleyball and always looking for the best places to eat! I love the satisfaction after figuring out challenging math and coding problems too! I chose to work at Mathnasium so that I can try to spread that same excitement!

Katelyn

Hi! I'm Katelyn and I'm a senior at the University of Maryland. I'm working to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology with a special focus in child development. In my free time, you can also find me at the beach, dancing, hanging out with friends, or reading. My favorite part of working at Mathnasium is not only the combination of learning and fun but also getting to show students who aren't confident in math, that they can be successful with a little extra assistance and hard work! My passion is helping people, especially the future minds of our society!
