Josh and Kimmy Cannon are the Owners and Center Directors at Mathnasium. Their math journey began together in high school, where they supported each other through Mrs. Johnson's Algebra 2 class. Today, they share a passion for helping students build confidence and success in math.
Josh holds a BS in Architectural Engineering and a MS in Engineering. He discovered his love for teaching after working as a design engineer. Kimmy holds BAs in English and Communication and a MA in English. She values building positive, joyful connections with students and families through Mathnasium.
Hi, I’m Christopher! I’m a senior at Benicia High School and I’m currently taking AP Calculus BC. I’ve always loved math and I would love to help foster that same love for math and learning in my students! Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis, solving Rubik’s Cubes, and spending time with friends and family. I hope I can help your student(s) get the most out of math to set them up for a successful future!

Hi! I'm Matthew, an instructor at Mathnasium Benicia. I've always loved everything to do with math, especially helping others learn it! So, I plan on teaching once I complete my undergrad (and Master's) at California State University - Sacramento.
Hello everyone! I am Maya and I am ecstatic to be a part of the Mathnasium team in Benicia! As a Mechanical Engineering student, I truly value having a supportive environment to learn in. I am a huge fan of the Mathnasium curriculum and the environment created for students!
Hi, I'm Ryan. I am currently a Senior in high school and was in AP Calculus BC last year (lots of science this year instead). The only thing I love more than math itself is teaching it! In my free time, I enjoy learning foreign languages and finding the patterns within them. I can't wait to meet you, and hear about your favorite number! (Mine is 2).
I'm currently a Junior at Benicia High School and taking Integrated Math III. Math has always been something that interested me and I love that I get the opportunity to help our students to enjoy math as well! On the side, I also play softball as well as some guitar too!
