Jessie has been with Mathnasium since October! She and her husband Drew have a 9th grader that they homeschool. She spends most of her "free" time at the ice rink watching her daughter and husband play ice hockey. They have recently moved to Bryant from Poyen and really enjoys it! Her favorite part of her job is meeting new kids and watching their faces when they have mastered a new skill!
Donatello (the Ninja Turtle, not the artist) is what James wanted to be when he was 5. He still isn't sure what his definition of success in life is yet, but he does know that his favorite thing about working at Mathnasium is watching students "get" math concepts. He's visited Germany and would love to visit there again. In his spare time he likes to read and sleep, and what people would find most surprising about him is that he plays ice hockey (and plays it well!). If he had a superpower, he hopes it would be invisibility, which would probably help him in hockey too! Algebra is his favorite type of math.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
