Shy Lazatin was born and raised in San Francisco and has a background in Finance and Marketing. She has extensive experience working with all age groups and is passionate about helping the youth apply math to real life, from financial literacy to practical problem-solving.
Peter, a former math teacher in Vietnam, moved to the United States with a strong desire to continue teaching and support students in mathematics. After arriving, he pursued his studies at UC Berkeley, earning a BS in Mathematics in 2010. He later completed his Master's degree in Mathematics at San Jose State University, where he worked on a project in Abstract Algebra. Peter has been teaching at Mathnasium for the past six years.
Nived has taught competitive math to junior high students with several students showing improvement in ASMA scores. Nived has also scored an 800 on the math section of the SAT and is very well versed in AP Statistics. He is also working on AS degree in Computer Information Systems & AA in Natural Sciences and Math.
Conor has always loved math and he loves to teach. Conor has been teaching at Mathnasium for more than 1 year.
Matthew is a senior in high school who is passionate about working with kids and sharing his love for math. He has been working at Mathnasium for over a year, helping kids in a personalized manner.
Oishee is dedicated to bettering students' minds. She hopes for all students to gain the same passion she has for math.
Chloe loves to teach math and specifically, in a way that kids can easily understand.
Swara loves to learn new things and loves teaching math to the community.
Amogh always likes to do math and uses his skills to teach in a friendly way.
Vijaya has master's in Computer Science from California State University East Bay. She is always interested in helping kids understand math. She has 2 kids who are in high-school and understands how math is beneficial to their success in school, but also in the real world. She also likes the way in which the Mathnasium method uses customized learning to help children learn math through a fun and challenging way.
Nidhi has a keen passion for delivering personalized math instruction to young learners.
