Pythagore M

Peter, known as Pythagore at the center, is a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium of San Jose–Cambrian. A retired math teacher from Vietnam, he earned his BS in Mathematics from UC Berkeley and later completed his master’s degree at San Jose State University, where he focused on abstract algebra. 

Peter has been teaching at Mathnasium for over six years and is passionate about helping students truly understand how math works. His deep knowledge and calm approach make him a favorite among students who are building confidence in their math skills. 

Nived

Nived is a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium of San Jose–Cambrian with a strong background in competitive math. He has successfully coached junior high students to improve their ASMA scores and achieved a perfect 800 on the SAT Math section himself. 

He is currently pursuing associate degrees in Computer Information Systems and Natural Sciences and Math. Nived’s expertise in AP Statistics and problem-solving strategies helps students strengthen their skills and enjoy math along the way. 

Xinyi

Xinyi is an enthusiastic instructor at Mathnasium of San Jose–Cambrian who enjoys helping students tackle challenging math topics. She has experience tutoring SAT prep courses and is well-versed in AP Calculus AB, Trigonometry Honors, and other advanced math classes. 

She believes in making math accessible and enjoyable for every student and takes pride in helping them gain confidence through personalized instruction. 

Bernice

Bernice has a deep passion for math and teaching,  has taught math at all levels inclding Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Calculus, Geometry. 

Shaurya

Shaurya enjoys teaching math in a way that is easy for kids to understand, and math is his favorite subject. Shaurya is in local private high school and is committed to enhancing students' minds and hopes to inspire them to develop the same passion for math that she has. He is also well versed in  AP Calculus, AP Calculus AB, Trigonometry with honors courses. Shaurya has been teaching here more than 1 and half year.

Swara

Swara has been teaching at mathnasium for a year and half. Students love her a way teaching and apprecaite the teaching method . Swara a Sr at high school and has been teaching Pre-Calc, Calc, Geometry.   

Amogh

Amogh always likes to do math and uses his skills to teach in a friendly way.  Amogh has been teaching here more than 1 and half year.

Nidhi

Nidhi has a keen passion for delivering personalized math instruction to young learners.  Nidhi has high SAT math score and she helps her high-school students with their SAT need and helps them build confidence in SAT test taking.  Nidhi has been teaching here more than 1 and half year.

Charlotte

Strong understanding of fundamental math concepts that help her teach children by adapting to different learning styles,

Bella

Higly skilled in Math and  Trained in AP Precalculus, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Calculus.  Bella also AP scholar - received a score of 5 on three AP exams and assisted with STEM nights at elementary schools to promote science engagement.

Vijaya P.

Vijaya has master's in Computer Science from California State University East Bay. She is always interested in helping kids understand math. She has 2 kids who are in high-school and understands how math is beneficial to their success in school, but also in the real world. She also likes the way in which the Mathnasium method uses customized learning to help children learn math through a fun and challenging way.
