She loves working with students in a more behind-the-scenes role, so this position is perfect for her. Her favorite thing about math is that it helps you understand the world around you. When she is not working at Mathnasium, she spends time with her two cats, Chickadee and Zetsu, and her dog Frankie. She loves crossword puzzles and has been doing the New York Times daily crossword every day for almost three years!

Dennis loves being a full-time math tutor. His favorite thing about math is that it helps develop critical thinking. He says math is everywhere and it is the tool that helps us unlock the biggest mysteries of the world. When Dennis isn't tutoring he likes to play video games and juggle.
Bryce
Lead Instructor
Bryce grew up in Blaine and currently resides there with his parents and two sisters. Bryce graduated from Spring Lake Park High School and has delayed college until he figures out if he wants to be a math teacher. That is one of the reasons he is working at Mathnasium. He enjoys finding tricks/short cuts in math that makes the problems simpler or more intuitive. He was the captain of his high school math team and they made it to state 2 times. When not at Mathnasium you will find Bryce playing video games, reading, anime, or doing math. A little known fact about Bryce is that in high school he played video games professionally.
Bob
Instructor
Bob is a graduate of Coon Rapids High School, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from St. Thomas University in St. Paul. He retired after a 40-year engineering career that focused on equipment safety and reliability. He raised 5 children and now enjoys his six grandchildren. He relishes games and puzzles, astronomy, vocal music, and canoeing. Bob applies math to his musical pursuits. Working at Mathnasium has reminded Bob of some of the Math he forgot decades ago. He enjoys watching kids grow their math power.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
