Patrick Quinn

Center Director

Patrick graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle and then went on to complete a master's degree in theology. He enjoys connecting with students and teaching them how math can be a fascinating puzzle that helps us understand the world around us.

Patrick started as an Instructor before becoming Assistant Director and then Center Director. He has a strong understanding of how Mathnasium teaches math and works with our staff to ensure that our students have a fun and enriching experience in the center. His goal is to see that each student is learning and being challenged in the way that works best for them. In his free time, Patrick enjoys hiking, board games, playing music, and spending time with his wife and friends.

Brandon Studeny

Owner

Hello, my name is Brandon Studeny, and I am the local small business owner of four Mathnasium locations. (Blue Ash, Hyde Park, Mason and West Chester). I began my career with Mathnasium in late 2017, and opened my first location (Hyde Park) in April of 2018. I ran that center until October of 2022, when I purchased three existing locations (Blue Ash, Mason and West Chester) from the previous owner. Being a part of the Mathnasium franchise system has been a true blessing for myself and my family. Helping kids grow confidence through math, and giving back to the communities we serve is a true honor. I grew up in Colorado, and graduated from the University of Colorado (Boulder) in 1993 with a Finance Major, and spent over 20 years working in corporate accounting. Finding this opportunity to be a small business owner, in a field that I love, and working with all of my team members and your children, has been a WONDERFUL change from my previous career in accounting and finance!

Allison

Lead Instructor

Allison is a native of Blue Ash, where she attended Ursuline Academy before earning a BA in linguistics from the Ohio State University. Her favorite math to teach is multiplication facts and factors, but you should also ask her about color-coding Pascal’s triangle. Outside of teaching at Mathnasium, she knits, crochets, plays with her dogs Kora (pictured), Addie, and Mellie, and reads too many books.

Sophia

Instructor

Sophia is a sophomore at Leaves of Learning and CAFE. She has been playing violin since the age of 5 and also enjoys baking, horse-back riding, and school. She will be studying calculus and physics this year. In five years Sophia hopes to pursue her love of mathematics and music when she goes to college.
