Eric holds a degree from the University of Miami with a double major in Biology and Economics. Valedictorian of his high school class, he was often the one peers turned to for help with math and science. He plans to continue his education in both psychology and mathematics, building on his strong academic foundation.
At Mathnasium, Eric connects easily with kids and brings creativity to his teaching. An AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego®), he also enjoys anime, puzzles, and building model kits. Outside the classroom, he stays active with weightlifting and other hobbies that exercise mind and body.
Patrick graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and is currently working on completing his requirements to become a high school math teacher while concurrently completing his MBA. Raised in Ireland, he developed a love for math early on, earning eight academic awards in secondary school, including three in mathematics. He enjoys showing students that solving difficult problems is rewarding and that math can be both fun and attainable.
Patrick’s favorite subjects to teach are advanced topics such as calculus and differential equations, though he also enjoys helping younger students achieve their goals. Outside of academics, his interests include fast cars, playing in a band, and video games.
Veda is a Computer Science student at Florida Atlantic University with a strong interest in math and science. He hopes to build a future career in technology while continuing to share his love for learning with others.
At Mathnasium, Veda enjoys working with children and helping them feel more confident in their math skills. Outside the classroom, his favorite hobby is playing tennis, which keeps him active and focused. His positive energy helps create a welcoming and motivating space for students.
Norman is a math major and presidential scholar at Nova Southeastern University. He is originally from Maryland, where he graduated from the Teacher Academy of Maryland at Harford Technical High School in the class of 2024. He is an aspiring university professor, and has experience in helping teach middle school math and AP Calculus. He is passionate about making upper level math courses, from Algebra II through calculus more relevant and accessible to students, and has a special interest in implementing math in a litany of areas, especially with ecology and chemistry. Outside of school and work, Norman is an Eagle scout and active in their honor society, the Order of the Arrow, and when home, is an adult volunteer for his home troop. Additionally, he enjoys writing satire, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends.
Erin is studying data science and analyitics at Florida Atlantic University. She is passionate about working with kids and hopes to make math more enjoyable for them. Teaching math brings her joy, especially when she sees the look of accomplishment on the faces of her students as they finally solve a problem they’ve been struggling with. She has always had a love for math and enjoys tackling a variety of challenging problems. In her free time she loves to bake, do yoga, and hang out with family and friends.
Kyla is pursuing her master’s degree in Information Technology & Management with a concentration in Business Analytics at Florida Atlantic University. She has always been fascinated by the complexity of mathematics and its real world applications. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, a passion that has been a significant part of her life as well.
Rohan is an Electrical Engineering student at Florida Atlantic University. He enjoys showing students how math concepts work together and is passionate about teaching math and helping students get better at it. His favorite subjects to teach are calculus and foundational mathematical topics. In his spare time he likes to program, draw, build robots and cook.
Caelin is a senior at Florida Atlantic University working toward a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He has been tutoring since high school and enjoys helping students discover clarity and confidence in subjects that often feel overwhelming. His approach emphasizes not just solving problems, but developing the logical and creative thinking that makes mathematics a powerful tool for life. Beyond the classroom, Caelin spends his summers running a surf camp for kids, combining his love for teaching with his passion for the ocean. Whether on the beach or with a math book open, he finds joy in guiding students toward new skills and greater self-confidence.
Diego is a mathematics major at Florida Atlantic University. He developed an affinity for math very early in life, progressing all the way through high school and calculus with ease. He dreams of one day becoming a mathematician, bringing insight that could one day be used for things beyond his imagination. In the meantime, he teaches what he knows to help students progress through their own math journeys. When he's not studying, he passes the time by playing games, keeping up with the state of the world, and spending time with his brother.
Zahariah graduated from the university of Central Florida with a masters degree in Educational Leadership. Math became her favorite subject after joining math counts in middle school. Problem-solving is what she loves the most about the subject. Zahariah is currently enrolled in an education program at PBSC to earn her teaching certification in 5-9 mathematics. Her other hobbies are painting, reading, and writing.
Ari graduated from Florida Atlantic University honors college with a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences and a minor concentration in math. Ari has always been passionate about science and math, and has years of experience tutoring peers and children in the subjects. At Mathnasium, Ari is a patient and knowledgeable tutor always finding a new way to explain a difficult topic for an aspiring student. Ari enjoys teaching and feels most fulfilled when a struggling student finds their way to understanding.
