Patrick M

Patrick is a 3rd year student at Florida Atlantic University and is working towards his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Raised in Ireland, Patrick has always had a fondness for mathematics. During his time in secondary school he earned 8 academic awards, 3 of which were for mathematics. Patrick hopes to show the younger generations that math is something to look forward to, and that solving a difficult problem makes all of the hard work worthwhile. His interests include fast cars. playing music with his band. video games and learning how things work. His favorite subjects to teach are the more difficult subjects like calculus and differential equations, but he also greatly enjoys teaching the younger students that not only are their mathematical goals attainable, but they can have a good time attaining them.

Santiago F

Santiago is currently pursuing an environmental engineering degree at Florida Atlantic University. He was raised in Colombia and graduated from a Colombian high school in July 2017. He came to the US in 2018 to go to university and has loved every step of the journey. He enjoys math games and trivia. His hobbies include origami and walking. As someone who has always been keen on math, Santiago is excited to have the opportunity to guide the new generation in learning math.

Thomas M

Thomas is a graduate student from Maryland pursuing his master's degree in Financial Valuation and Investment Management at Lynn University. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Lynn University, as well, and is a member of the Lynn Fighting Knights Men’s Lacrosse Team. As a college athlete, he loves math because it is a workout for the mind. When Thomas is not at Mathnasium, he enjoys spending his time playing lacrosse, surfing, and learning about global markets.

Veda O

Veda is currently a freshmen at Florida Atlantic University studying computer science. He loves math and science and is looking for a future in the field. He also loves working with kids. His main hobby is playing tennis.

Charles B

Charlie is currently a Junior at Saint Andrew’s High School in Boca Raton and as a math enthusiast, has his sights set on a finance career. His ability with numbers influences the classes he takes including AP Economics and Calculus as well as his extracurricular activities such as sports analytics and making music with a professional band. Charlie enjoys playing golf with his older brothers and competitive tennis at school. He has always appreciated working with younger kids whether it be on the tennis court, with an instrument, or with the interesting topics of math.

Tabitha B

Tabbie is currently a junior at FAU. She is majoring in Computer Science. She has always loved math and knows how important it is to have a strong foundation in mathematics for many work fields. Her goal is to become a software engineer after graduating. In her free time, Tabbie likes to read, go to the beach, and hang out with family and friends.

Indyah F

Indyah is a senior at Lynn University studying Psychology with a minor in Social Impact and Justice. Her ultimate goal is to become a research psychologist. Her interest in math is sparked by her passion for problem-solving and critical thinking. She loves kids and has spent her last few summers working with them. In her free time, you can find her studying the Bible or watching musicals.

Ryan P

Ryan is a sophomore at Florida Atlantic University and am pursuing a degree in Biology. He has always loved math and it was his favorite subject to learn throughout school. He is happy to be working with kids and teaching them the many subjects of mathematics. In the future, Ryan wants to become a pharmacist. In his spare time, he enjoys weight lifting and playing football with friends.

Therese M

Therese is a junior at Florida Atlantic University, majoring in exercise science and health promotion to become a physical therapist. She is from Delray Beach, Florida, and loves working with children. She loves helping kids understand math and making math something that kids will find fun and enjoy.

Mac M

Assistant Director
Mac graduated from the University of Michigan completing his degree in international studies and romance languages, minoring in public policy. With a comprehensive understanding of mathematics, from elementary-level to Calculus and Statistics as well as standardized test math and math competition topics, he is adept at guiding students of all levels. Driven by his aspiration to pursue a career in law and foreign policy, Mac is passionate about cultivating critical thinking and problem-solving skills in his students. Beyond academics, he has interests in traveling, scuba diving, and sports as an avid Wolverines fan who played tennis competitively through high school.

Natalia R

Natalia is currently a junior at Spanish River High School. She has always loved and excelled in math and science. As a passionate problem solver, she participates in robotics competitions and plans on pursuing electrical engineering in college. In her free time, Natalia likes playing instruments, weightlifting, and going to the beach.

Nick A

Nick is an Electrical Engineering major at FAU. He came to Mathnasium to help kids with their math work. Nick struggled with math himself in high school and knows what it's like to be up late with no one to help you. He wants to help kids feel more comfortable with math because it's a lot easier to work through hard math when you believe you can.

Emma E

Emma is a senior at Florida Atlantic University working towards her degree in economics with aspirations to become an actuary. Math has always been a strong suit for her, making her an ideal candidate for tutoring others in math. She was always the go-to friend for all math-related questions. At Mathnasium, she can continue pursuing her love for teaching and instruction while creating an enjoyable environment for kids of all ages to thrive academically.
