Eric A

Lead Instructor
Eric has a degree from the University of Miami with a double major in Biology and Economics. He has always had a passion for mathematics and science and was his high school valedictorian. In high school and college, Eric was the one classmates always turned to for help with homework and preparation for exams. He is planning to pursue further education in psychology and mathematics. Eric gets along great with kids as he is an AFOL (an Adult Fan of Lego), with an avid affinity for anime…and alliteration. Believing it is essential to exercise the mind, body, and spirit, Eric enjoys building model kits, solving puzzles, weightlifting, and teaching.

Patrick M

Instructor
Patrick is a 3rd year student at Florida Atlantic University and is working towards his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Raised in Ireland, Patrick has always had a fondness for mathematics. During his time in secondary school he earned 8 academic awards, 3 of which were for mathematics. Patrick hopes to show the younger generations that math is something to look forward to, and that solving a difficult problem makes all of the hard work worthwhile. His interests include fast cars. playing music with his band. video games and learning how things work. His favorite subjects to teach are the more difficult subjects like calculus and differential equations, but he also greatly enjoys teaching the younger students that not only are their mathematical goals attainable, but they can have a good time attaining them.

Santiago F

Instructor
Santiago is currently pursuing an environmental engineering degree at Florida Atlantic University. He was raised in Colombia and graduated from a Colombian high school in July 2017. He came to the US in 2018 to go to university and has loved every step of the journey. He enjoys math games and trivia. His hobbies include origami and walking. As someone who has always been keen on math, Santiago is excited to have the opportunity to guide the new generation in learning math.

Veda O

Instructor
Veda is currently a freshmen at Florida Atlantic University studying computer science. He loves math and science and is looking for a future in the field. He also loves working with kids. His main hobby is playing tennis.

Tabitha B

Instructor
Tabbie is currently a junior at FAU. She is majoring in Computer Science. She has always loved math and knows how important it is to have a strong foundation in mathematics for many work fields. Her goal is to become a software engineer after graduating. In her free time, Tabbie likes to read, go to the beach, and hang out with family and friends.

Ryan P

Instructor
Ryan is a sophomore at Florida Atlantic University and am pursuing a degree in Biology. He has always loved math and it was his favorite subject to learn throughout school. He is happy to be working with kids and teaching them the many subjects of mathematics. In the future, Ryan wants to become a pharmacist. In his spare time, he enjoys weight lifting and playing football with friends.

Keon M

Instructor
Keon is a current freshman at UF and is pursuing a degree in mathematics. He grew up in Florida most of his life, but spent lots of time in Iran as well. Growing up, he enjoyed tackling math and engineering problems with his father and discovered his passion for mathematics. Keon enjoys teaching children as he hopes to make students more comfortable with the subject and remove any anxiety held over doing math. He hopes to one day pursue math research and teach at a university.

Maryam I

Instructor
Maryam is currently a senior at FAU’s Wilkes Honors College pursuing a degree in Neuroscience with a minor concentration in Anthropology. Math has always been one of her favorite subjects. She likes to simplify math concepts to students so they can understand and enjoy solving problems. Maryam has always had a keen interest in working with children, and regularly volunteers at her local mosque to teach students how to read Arabic. In her free time, she likes to play video games, watch movies, and make jewelry.

Deniz A

Instructor
Deniz is currently a senior at Spanish River High School. She enjoys solving problems and likes helping students understand them in a comprehensible way. As a tutor, she finds fulfillment in seeing her students gain confidence and improve their skills. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, dancing, and tarot reading.

Olivia H

Instructor
Olivia is currently a junior at Boca Raton Community High School. Math has always been one of her favorite subjects at school, and she is currently taking AP Calculus. She is looking to pursue a career in engineering after high school. Olivia’s hobbies include speedcubing, watching Formula 1, and going to the movies. She enjoys working with kids and helping them understand math.

Kirby J

Instructor

Kirby is currently enrolled at William and Mary in Virginia, though taking a gap year and doing classes at FAU in the meantime. He loves math and loves to laugh, and learning math has led him to many of his favorite pastimes in life. He loves seeing the smiles on kids' faces when they learn to love math as he has, and seeing the joy of understanding in action. He hopes to one day become a videogame designer, utilizing his math and programming skills in conjunction. When not working at Mathnasium or going to school, he loves reading and playing video games with his friends.

Norman B

Instructor

Norman is a freshman math major and presidential scholar at Nova Southeastern University. He is originally from Maryland, where he graduated from the Teacher Academy of Maryland at Harford Technical High School in the class of 2024. He is an aspiring university professor, and has experience in helping teach middle school math and AP Calculus. He is passionate about making upper level math courses, from Algebra II through calculus more relevant and accessible to students, and has a special interest in implementing math in a litany of areas, especially with ecology and chemistry. Outside of school and work, Norman is an Eagle scout and active in their honor society, the Order of the Arrow, and when home, is an adult volunteer for his home troop. Additionally, he enjoys writing satire, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends.
