Response to Back-to-School Survey

Aug 6, 2020 | Boerne

A few days ago, I sent a survey to our active enrollments to hear your opinions about in-center at @home instruction during the school year. Based on the survey results, I have made the following decisions:

Instructional Options

Mathnasium of Boerne will continue to offer both in-center instruction and @home instruction. Your voice was heard and we will also work with those who would like to try a combination of in-center and @home (this will take some planning and there will be some restrictions).  If you would like to change how your child receives instruction, please contact the center by email at [email protected] or by phone or text at 830-331-8414.

Safety Remains Our Priority

Mathnasium of Boerne strives to keep the safety of our students, families, instructors, and directors in mind as we enter the new school year.  We will continue to require face coverings for in-center instruction and utilize a sanitation station at the entrance of the center. We appreciate your ongoing cooperation in helping us reinforce safety protocols with your child and respectfully ask that if your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home.

Upcoming Holiday Closure

We will be CLOSED in observance of Labor Day on Saturday, September 5th and Monday, September 7th.  Please feel free to schedule your appointments before or after the holiday.

Suggested Summer Instructional Hours

We received a lot of feedback about offering morning instructional hours in the summer, and will consider making this change to our instructional hours for Summer 2021.

General Feedback

We appreciate all of the kind and encouraging words you had to share with us through our survey. Your feedback indicated that despite the uncertainty that we continue to face, we were able to make an impact on your child's understanding of math! We look forward to continuing to help make math make sense for your child this year!
