Meghan Hunter

Meghan, a 1992 graduate of Texas Tech University and former Certified Teacher for the State of Texas, is fulfilling a personal dream of having an education-based business that serves the children of the community she calls home. Meghan has always had a love for mathematics. After obtaining her teaching certification from the University of North Texas and getting into the classroom, she soon discovered that not all of her students shared this warm, fuzzy feeling for numbers. After her son attended Mathnasium of Southlake, Meghan started exploring the business. It was at a meeting in Los Angeles that Larry Martinek, the developer of the Mathnasium Method, said something that helped her ultimately decide to open her own center. Larry said, “Kids don’t really HATE math. They hate being confused and thinking that they are the only ones that don’t get it.” Mathnasium just makes sense to kids and parents. As the owner of Mathnasium of Boerne, Meghan has found a business that allows her to work with children and be a productive part of a special community.
