Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

James Johnson

Instructor
James has been an essential part of our team since 2012! Moving to Boerne, Texas when he was in the 3rd grade, he was a member of the second ever graduating class of Samuel V. Champion High School. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Education from Schreiner University. He enjoys changing lives through math by helping students realize the relevance and importance of mathematical concepts - not just mechanical solution steps. Favorite Number: 42, because "it is the answer to all things". Favorite Math Joke: I don't know why my teacher keeps asking me to find their x...

Hannah Tabet

Instructor
Hannah has lived in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas her entire life. After graduating from Samuel V. Champion High School in 2020, she now attends the University of Texas at San Antonio as a Mathematics major. Hannah joined the Mathnasium of Boerne team in June of 2021, and loves getting to apply what she's learning as a full-time college student towards helping students. In her eyes, getting to make a meaningful difference in so many students' lives, mathematically or otherwise, is an awesome experience. Favorite Number: Hannah is currently taking suggestions for what her favorite number should be... Favorite Math Joke: Mr. James is turning 31 this year... he's really hitting his prime!

Noah Endermann

Instructor
Originally from San Diego, California, Noah graduated from the University of San Diego with a major in Chemistry. He soon after moved to Fair Oaks Ranch and joined our team in September of 2018. Noah believes that teaching kids math is really just "learning to think, which is what math is really all about". For Noah, interacting with students in a meaningful and educational way is the most rewarding part of the job. Favorite Number: e, because it's awesome! Favorite Math Joke: A horse walks into a bar. The bartender asks the horse if it likes is an enthusiast of apples, to which the horse replies "I don’t think I am” POOF! The horse disappears. This is the point in time when all the philosophy students begin to giggle, as they are familiar with the philosophical proposition of Cogito ergo sum, or I think, therefore, I am. But to explain the concept first would be putting Descartes before the horse.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
