I have taken math classes up to and including Calculus 1. I was part of the Ski Patrol in Park City and Salt Lake City Search & Rescue. I have ran a marathon and am currently enrolled in flight school at FLT Academy and a licensed pilot. I've visited 10 different countries, love to read & cook, love to off-road, camp & fly fish, and am a Manchester City fan. I also have worked for a program at the U of U called UFit. It's an after school program where I helped teach and exercise kids with mental disabilities. I enjoy skiing, hiking, fly fishing, camping, Astronomy and Cosmology, soccer, and running.
Fun Fact: I trekked to Mt. Everest basecamp.
Favorite Number, why?: 22 - it was my number growing up playing soccer and lacrosse.
Education: Arizona State University and University of Utah. Grad. 2018. Kinesiology, Bio and Chem
Why I love Mathnasium: I had a physics professor who chose to help me through my physics course outside of his normal teaching hours. His choice to help me one-on-one changed the entire course of my education. I wish to provide that same attention to students at Mathnasium and help them find their own passion for math.
Liz is from Utah County and is currently a Senior at the University of Utah. Her all-time favorite subject is Calculus. Some of her other favorite classes she has taken are Foundation of Analysis 1, Foundations of Algebra, and Intro to Number Theory. In high school, her favorite math class was AP Calculus BC. In high school, Liz was on the Girls Golf Team. She has spent the last 8+ years working with kids, teaching them math, golf, tennis, basketball, and swim. Liz loves to ski, snowboard, and golf. She loves to watch football and basketball - she is a big fan of the Utah Utes and Utah Jazz.
Fun Fact: I love Star Wars. I can watch them all over and over again, and will never get sick of them.
Favorite Number: 7 - It has the highest probability of being rolled with two six-sided dice.

Why I love Mathnasium: I am excited about Mathnasium! Two of my favorite things are math, and teaching kids new things. At Mathnasium, I'll get to do both of those things! I love when you are teaching a student math and you can see in their eyes when something has just clicked and they start to understand it. Math can be hard, and it is very rewarding when you figure certain problems out. I love helping students feel that.
Fun Fact: I decided to become an Electrical Engineer because of 8th-grade shop project making a DC motor
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from BYU and Masters of Business Administration degree from Boise State University
Clint Brown spent the first 16+ years of his career working in marketing and advertising. From the small software start up to the $100M advertising agency, Clint has helped companies of various sizes grow and succeed. Clint has been involved with Mathnasium for several years and loves the rewarding experience of helping kids of all ages build math confidence.
Clint currently resides in Utah with his wife and 3 kids. Clint loves being in the outdoors hiking, canyoneering, skiing and more. He enjoys watching college football and cheering on the football team from the University of Utah.
Fun Fact: Clint summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. Which reaches an elevation of 19,341'.
Education: Clint holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering at the University of Utah.
Why I love Mathnasium: Helping kids realize that they can do math is one of the most rewarding things I've had the opportunity to experience in my career. Seeing a student gain confidence in their ability to do math can be life changing and working at Mathnasium allows me to see that happen every day.
Fun Fact: I speak Spanish and I am learning Korean, very slowly.
Favorite Number, why?: My favorite number is 4, I don't know why but I always choose it.
Education: I am currently at the University of Utah, in my senior year. I will graduate in Math.
Why I love Mathnasium: I love teaching math! It is what I've planned on doing for a long time.
Fun Fact: My middle name is Nofear.
Favorite Number, why?: 7, representing completion.
Education: I'm currently attending Viewmont High School as a Sophomore, graduating in 2025.
Why I love Mathnasium: Mathnasium has two of the things which I love and I'm good at: Math and Teaching. I'd also like to reduce the hate for math, and potentially help kids see math through a different perspective.
Fun Fact: I love How to Train Your Dragon. It’s one of my favorite movies, Toothless being my favorite character.
Favorite Number, why?: 8. It rhymes with Tate, it’s been my favorite since kindergarten. It also represents August, being the 8th month of the year and my birth month.
Education: I go to school at Woods Cross Highschool. I’m a sophomore and will graduate in 2025.
Why I love Mathnasium: I love math and problem solving. I want to help students learn their potential in math and find confidence in their abilities.
Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is that I’ve been to 8 countries.
Favorite Number, why?: My favorite number is phi, I just think it’s so cool that one number can be associated with so much of the natural world!
Education: I go to school at Woods Cross High School and am currently in 10th grade.
Why I love Mathnasium: I like Mathnasium because the environment of everyone there is an amazing place to learn math. It’s not very often that you see kids so excited to learn!
Fun Fact: I have a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
Favorite Number, why?: My favorite number is 27 because that's my uniform number for sports and I was born on the 27th of August.
Education: I am soon to be a Junior at Farmington High School.
Why I love Mathnasium: I get to hang out with a bunch of cool kids and do math!
Fun Fact: I have double jointed thumbs!
Favorite Number, why?: 11 because it is the first double digit prime number and it’s parallel.
Education: I’m a senior at Viewmont High School and will be graduating in 2025.
Why I love Mathnasium: I can have fun with numbers outside of school.
Fun Fact: I enjoy exploring and collecting rocks such as expeditions to Topaz Mountain
Favorite Number, why?: pi 3.14 is my favorite number, my family has always celebrated march 14 as pie day.
Education: I am a geophysics major at the University of Utah and have been studying there for 3 years
Why I love Mathnasium: I enjoy helping people and I enjoy math, here I can do both
I've taken up to Secondary Math 2 (10th grade math) and am currently taking Secondary Math 3 (11th grade math) at Woods Cross High School. I am a Theatre student council officer at Woods Cross High and am a part of HOSA. I've competed three times in the Utah State Math competition, placing in the top 25% of the state one year. I have helped teach kids musical theatre and taekwondo and I have two little siblings. I'm always the first one my friends call for help with math! I've been performing in musical theatre for around 7 years! I love to sing, dance and act, both at my high school and at community theatres!
Fun Fact: I was the student body president at LPA last year

Why I love Mathnasium: I love the opportunity to teach kids math and creating a love for math just like mine!
I have taken Honors Secondary Math 2&3 and AP Calculus BC (passed with a 5). I am involved with Varsity Tennis, Varsity Pickleball and I'm fluent in Chinese. I love to do art, specifically water colors. I also love watching movies and spending time with my family.
Fun Fact: I love riding horses.
Education: I'm a senior at Viewmont High School.

Why I love Mathnasium: I am so excited to work with students and make a difference in their lives. It makes me so happy to see them understand difficult concepts.
