Kevin Bord

Kevin Bord

Owner/Center Director
Kevin and Karalyn Bord opened Mathnasium of Brecksville in 2019. Kevin has thoroughly enjoyed helping students overcome their math struggles and/or move further ahead. He is looking forward to helping many more.

Devin

Assistant Center Director
Devin has always had an aptitude for math. From gifted to honor roll to dean’s list, they’ve always excelled. They have a passion for working with kids and making learning fun that makes kids gravitate towards them. They’ve run weekly Pokémon Leagues for all ages and like to spend time with the kids in their family. They even call one of them that lives far away every week! They enjoy striking up conversations with new people, calling their friends, playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and listening to music.

Jacob Brewer

Lead Instructor
Jacob is our Lead Instructor. He is a sophomore at the Ohio State University and is majoring in a math-related field. He enjoys listening to and making music, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.

Sean

Instructor Level 3
Sean attends Case Western Reserve University. He plans to become a data scientist. Sean also plays piano and organ for Brecksville United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he loves playing basketball and biking. Favorite math joke: What do you call a number that can't sit still? A "roamin'" numeral.

Sahithi

Instructor Level 3
Sahithi is a senior at Copley High School and a member of the varsity Cross Country and Track teams. She is interested in pursuing Food Science in college. She enjoys running, dancing, and baking in her free time. Sahithi also loves to travel with her family. Math is her favorite subject!

Grace

Instructor Level 2
Grace attends Magnificat High School, where she does all kinds of cool stuff. She plans a career in medicine.

Hamsika

Instructor
Hamsika is a great instructor who loves math and teaching math.

Kavana

Instructor
Kavana plans for a career in medicine, loves math and loves teaching math.

Brody

Instructor Level 2
Brody is a sophomore at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. He is interested in pursuing Mathematics in college. He enjoys lifting and listening to music in his free time. Brody also loves to spend time with family and friends. Brody’s favorite math joke is: "Pi r squared, or are they?”

Arleen

Instructor Level 2
Arleen attends John Carroll University, loves math and teaching math.

Madelyn

Instructor Level 3
Madelyn is a sophomore at Brecksville Broadview Heights who plays piano and enjoys choir. She is a gentle and patient instructor who loves sharing her mathematical insights to help math make sense. Madeline enjoys Girl Scouts, skiing, rock climbing, soccer and running.

Diya

Instructor Level 2
Diya is a freshman at Brecksville Broadview Heights who enjoys teaching / helping others with math. She is in Orchestra, robotics, science olympiad, biology, and speech and debate. She also loves to run, play tennis and golf!

Josh

Instructor Level 2
Josh is a great instructor who loves math and teaching math.

Sophia

Instructor Level 3
Sophia is a junior at Brecksville Broadview High School. She’s interested in pursuing a career in medicine. In her free time she likes to read, play tennis, draw, and play the violin. Her favorite subjects are math and history.

Haasini Sanisetty

Instructor
Haasini is a junior at Hathaway Brown. She has always loved math and plans on pursuing a career in engineering. She is involved with her school’s all-girls robotics team, speech and debate team, and research program. In her free time she loves to play volleyball, read, and perform dance!

Brayden

Instructor Level 3
Brayden is a junior at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School who loves to study math and sciences. In his free time, he likes to play video games online, play pick up sports, and watch Cleveland sports.

Shannon

Instructor
Shannon is a senior at Cleveland State University, studying Marketing. She enjoys coaching softball, traveling, the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Sana

Instructor
Sana is a junior at North Royalton High School. She enjoys playing tennis and reading. Her favorite subject is math and she loves to help others with concepts that they struggle with.

Jack

Instructor Level 2
Jack is a junior at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School who loves math and science. In his free time, he likes to play video games, play baseball, and solve Rubik's cubes.

Ace

Mascot
World traveler, master of all things mathematical, and all around cool letter!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
