Hayes holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. A Colorado Springs native, he has spent over two decades working in the defense and telecom industries in the Pikes Peak region.
His passion for helping students truly understand math led him to Mathnasium. Hayes believes that math can be both fun and transformative when taught the right way. He’s excited to help students develop strong math foundations and gain confidence through the Mathnasium Method™.
Susan earned dual bachelor's degrees in computer science and music from the University of Southern Colorado after attending the U.S. Air Force Academy. Prior to joining Mathnasium, she worked as an infrastructure specialist on IBM mainframes.
A Colorado native and accomplished pianist, Susan is passionate about helping children build confidence in math. She joined her husband Hayes in their Mathnasium journey and is proud to support students in their community with caring guidance and individualized instruction.
