Holden is a 2016 graduate from Cameron University with a degree in Biology, and a previous teacher at Broken Arrow High School. He has a passion for teaching about the natural world we exist in, and as a teacher Holden was able to form strong student relationships and hone his ability to present difficult material in a digestible way. These skills build the foundation of his success at Mathnasium, where he’s able to work with students and their guardians to overcome challenges and help students become more confident in math.
As a life-long learner, Holden believes that a core understanding of mathematics is key to understanding science and the world around us at large. That belief shines through not only in his role at Mathnasium, but also in his leisure pursuits as well; Holden currently DMs for 3 different DnD groups, builds his own gaming computers, and has recently started a garden!
Rex earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Wyoming. He began as a high school math teacher and was drawn to Mathnasium because the curriculum matched the way he thinks about math. His leadership role allows him to help thousands of students daily.
Outside the center, Rex enjoys reading, playing guitar, and exploring simulation games on the computer. He’s also a devoted dog owner, known for spoiling his canine companion.
Jeff earned his Economics degree from James Madison University before pursuing a Master’s in Education from George Mason University. He spent a decade teaching math at the high school and college levels before transitioning into leadership roles with national restaurant brands.
Returning to his passion for math education, Jeff joined Mathnasium to focus on helping students succeed. When not working, he enjoys time with his wife of 28 years, their two dogs, and visiting their three adult children.
James discovered his love for mathematics during middle and high school, graduating from the University of Virginia with a Math degree in 2000. He served seven years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer, where he also tutored homeschool students in math.
In 2007, James returned to UVA to earn his MBA from the Darden School of Business. He brings both his analytical skills and his understanding of student frustrations to help make math more approachable.
