Julia Jenson has been with Mathnasium of Brunswick NJ for over 16 years, helping hundreds of students across local school districts build confidence and excel in math. She is known for understanding each student’s learning style and tailoring lessons to meet their needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Julia leads a team of highly trained instructors, including certified teachers and math graduates, who share her passion for making math understandable and engaging. She believes every child can thrive when learning is interactive, encouraging, and full of positive reinforcement.
Matthew Crawford was born in Middlesex, New Jersey, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Northeastern University in Boston. A Mathnasium team member for more than ten years, he brings patience and clarity to every lesson and enjoys showing students that math can be both logical and fun.
Outside of Mathnasium, Matthew works in the finance department of the Somerset County Library System. He enjoys reading, cooking, and cycling—and once even adopted a kitten named Gato from his center director. His favorite math joke is, “What did the triangle say to the circle? You’re pointless!”

Amaan Hashmi is a software engineer who enjoys solving problems through both code and numbers. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in computer science with a focus on quantum computing and is passionate about helping students see math as a puzzle worth exploring.
When he’s not teaching, Amaan enjoys basketball, guitar, chess, and experimenting in the kitchen. He lives with two curious cats who sometimes “help” him code. His favorite math joke is, “What do you call a number that can’t keep still? A roamin’ numeral!”
Sravan has a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Information Technology and a Master's in Data Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is an avid Python coder and solves math problems in his free time (mostly integral calculus).
