Our Team at Mathnasium of Calabasas

Amirah

Greetings! My name is Amirah. My husband Asif and I own four Southern California Mathnasium Learning Centers, including Calabasas, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Granada Hills. We have been a part of Mathnasium since 2015. Most importantly, we love what we do! It is truly a joy for us to be a part of Mathnasium, and it shows. We have been honored as Top Owners for three years in a row since 2021. We believe math is important in school and in life, and we’re committed to empowering each child who walks through our doors. Our goal is to help children in the Calabasas area learn how to enjoy and excel at math, build their skills and their confidence, and open doors in school, for college, and for future careers. On a more personal note, both Asif and I grew up in Los Angeles and decided to raise our family here as well. We have two kids, 12 and 10, and two cats, 2 and 1. It’s a particular joy for me to be back in Calabasas as my parents used to own a small business here, so I have strong ties and fond memories of my childhood in Calabasas.
