Greetings! My name is Amirah. I own the Calabasas and Granada Hills Mathnasium Centers. I have been part of Mathnasium since 2015. Most importantly, I love what I do! It is truly a joy for me to be a part of Mathnasium, and it shows. I have been honored as a Top Owner in Southern California since 2021 and am a pioneer in Mathnasium’s School Partnership program. I believe math is important in school and in life, and I am committed to empowering each child who walks into my centers. My goal is to help children learn how to enjoy and excel at math, build their skills and their confidence. On a more personal note, I grew up in the valley. I have two kids, two cats, and love connecting with the local community. It’s a particular joy for me to be back in Calabasas as my parents used to own a small business here, so I have strong ties and fond memories of my childhood in Calabasas.

What I love about Mathnasium: I love that Mathnasium focuses its students on mastering the fundamentals of math first. It goes beyond just providing students with after school tutoring or homework help. It is a secondary source where students can be free to ask questions and work at the pace that best suits their needs.

What I love about Mathnasium: My favorite thing about Mathnasium is being able to help students gain confidence in themselves with math and helping them develop their critical thinking skills.

What I love about Mathnasium: I love the warm and friendly culture created from everyone I've met, as well as seeing how effective the Mathnasium Method is firsthand.

What I love about Mathnasium: I love working with the students! Each of them bring so much energy to learning and they are such a joy to be around! It's a lot of fun to be a part of the process where they learn something for the first time and gradually understand it better and better.
