I like math because of the many fun challenges it presents, and the problem-solving skills it builds that are applicable in so many other aspects of life. My favorite math subject is calculus, which is both the most difficult and most enjoyable class I have ever taken. I plan to teach math after college, so I like working at Mathnasium for the experience it gives me working with students; moreover, it is very fulfilling to help students get the extra help they need to be more confident and excited about their work. My favorite number is 3: it's a solid number, and triangles are pretty cool too. My favorite hobbies are playing saxophone and guitar, as well as long-distance running. An interesting fact is that the modern form of calculus was discovered by two different people independently, and published at about the same time.

I am a junior at Chopticon High School. I am in the Academy of Finance and part of the Future Business Leaders of America serving as their historian. I also participate in Building Excellent Students Together which is a group for helping freshman acclimate to high school. My favorite number is 4 because it is the first single digit number with 3 factors.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.
