Our Community Donation Drive was featured on KTVU Fox 2! We appreciated the opportunity for our Owner & Center Director (Dr. Kobad Bugwadia) and two of our Mathnasium students (Rika and Mina Yanagihara) to share about our community efforts this holiday season!
Our Community Donation Drive provides an opportunity for our students to support other kids in need. When our students complete their math pages, they earn “star cards”, which they can trade in for various rewards for themselves. Through our Community Donation Drive, we provide an opportunity for students to donate their star cards, instead of receiving a reward. This year, our Drive benefits Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, which supports foster youth in the community by matching these children with Court-Appointed Special Advocates.
In order to incentivize our students, we have partnered with the Golden State Warriors Foundation (who provided Warriors swag and autographed player pictures!), as well as the Santa Clara County Fire Department and the Mountain View Police Department, both of which generously provided exciting items (including a gift basket and a personal department tour!) for our students.
