Dr. Kobad Bugwadia holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University. He’s been a Teaching Assistant, college instructor, adjunct faculty member at Santa Clara University, and a two-time “TA of the Year” award winner. Kobad also spent over a decade in the tech industry, including at Intel.
His lifelong passion for teaching and mentoring led him to open Mathnasium, where he loves helping students visualize math in ways that make sense. A proud Bay Area parent, Kobad is committed to building confidence through math and helping students prepare for success in any field.
Nancy Bugwadia brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to her role at Mathnasium, blending compassion and a love for community outreach. She officially joined full-time in 2022 and has been instrumental in forming school partnerships and hosting local Math Nights.
Nancy holds a BS in Microbiology and an MS in Clinical Nutrition and is a Registered Dietitian. She brings a vibrant energy to the centers, always aiming to make learning fun and engaging. Outside of Mathnasium, Nancy enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Fernan has been part of the Mathnasium of Campbell–Los Gatos team since 2013. She earned a degree in Design Studies with a minor in Computer Science from San Jose State University and has a natural talent for building strong connections with students.
She customizes her teaching approach to each student’s learning style and brings energy and empathy to every session. Fernan has been instrumental in launching the new Willow Glen location and continues to mentor students and staff with enthusiasm and care.
Alex Reyna joined Mathnasium of Campbell–Los Gatos in 2014 and has grown from instructor to Assistant Center Manager. With a background in engineering, he has a deep appreciation for STEM and enjoys helping students discover the excitement of math.
Alex is known for his hard work, dedication, and strong relationships with both students and families. He finds great joy in helping students grasp new concepts and build long-term confidence in their abilities.
Glynda Myer graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Math Education. She has worked with Mathnasium for over a decade and brings a strong instructional background and classroom experience to her leadership role.
Now General Manager for multiple locations, Glynda is known for her student-centered approach that focuses on helping learners understand not just how math works, but why it works. Her thoughtful leadership supports students and instructors alike across Campbell–Los Gatos, Mountain View–Los Altos, and Willow Glen.
