Mr. Jeff has been working with Mathnasium for over a decade. Starting off as an instructor in Orlando, FL, he quickly found out how much Mathnasium helps students learn to love math. From there, he moved to Raleigh, NC and became a Center Director. Over the next 10 years, Jeff helped run six centers, started two centers, and now co-owns three centers with his wife Nicole. Jeff loves to make math fun! If he can make a student leave the center having smiled at least once then his job has been done!
Mrs. Nicole has been working with Mathnasium for over five years. Starting off as a Center Director, Nicole now works as the Finance Director for the three centers she co-owns with her husband Jeff. Although Nicole misses working side-by-side with the students building the confidence they need for long-term success, she loves that she can still be an integral part of their math careers. Her and Jeff are looking forward to having their son Cooper join the Mathnasium Family soon!
I am a senior at North Carolina State University studying Business Administration and Finance. My favorite part about working at Mathnasium is building relationships and communicating with parents to work with their child towards a common goal. My main goal is to ensure that Mathnasium of Cary runs as smooth and successfully as possible!
Ms. Charlie is a huge math geek with a degree in mathematics from North Carolina State University to prove it. Creating a positive learning environment is her #1 goal and she focuses on making math approachable - and maybe even fun! - for all students. She hopes to someday return to school for a graduate degree in education but, for now, she spends her free time playing cello with local symphonies and enjoying the antics of her cat Cheesecake.
Mahita has had a passion for math since middle school with her involvement in math clubs and competitions. She loves helping students of all ages gain a better understanding of math concepts and make learning more engaging! She is currently a junior at Green Hope High School. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys serving as Co-President of her school’s DECA chapter, playing the violin, and volunteering!
Mr. Ethan is a first year instructor passionate about math and science since he first started school. He believes math provides an essential way to view the world, and loves working with kids of all ages to help bring that incredible world to light. Outside of Mathnasium, he loves ultimate frisbee, golfing, playing cello, and collaborating with classmates to solve advanced physics problems! He is currently attending Cary Academy and will attend Northwestern University in the fall.
Hey everyone! I’m Mr. Rohit, and this is my first year as an instructor. I bring a ton of energy, enthusiasm, and a love for math that I can’t wait to share with you all! My goal is to make math less intimidating and more like solving fun puzzles. Outside of Mathnasium, I like to play volleyball, bike, and hang out with my friends. I’m excited to get to know you all and help make math a little easier (and maybe even fun) along the way!
Ms. Tammy is a first-year instructor who is very passionate about math. She believes that math is very important to understand and strives to make it engaging and exciting. Ms. Tammy is currently a student at Cary High School and enjoys theatre, music, and art in her free time!
