National Night Out

The Cary Police Department and the Cary Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association will be hosting the 2025 National Night Out event in Cary on Thursday, August 7th, starting at 6:30PM and concluding at 9:15PM with a fireworks send off!

National Night Out (NNO) is a nationwide community event where residents have the opportunity to meet their local first responders. There will be emergency vehicle displays, public works trucks, LifeNet helicopter, tours of the Police Department, a police drone presentation, dunk tank to dunk the Deputy Chief, games, inflatables, a free raffle for a new bicycle, and more!

Bring your appetites, because there will be a corral of over 10 food trucks with a variety of food and drink options for purchase in the Kaper Park parking lot, located directly south of the Police Department on Georgetown Drive.
