Kelly Alexman is one of our elite instructors at Cedar Rapids, whose job it is to teach kids to feel confident and become successful in math.

We interviewed Kelly to give you a sneak peak of how great she/he is:

So, Kelly, What do you love most about teaching here? A: Helping a child discover their math talents.

What's your favorite success story at Mathnasium? A: There are so many, but I think of all the kids that have come and started as finger counters and end up being fully proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition to being better problem solvers.

If I was to catch you at your favorite local restaurant, what would it be and what would you order? A:I love Panera and I always get cheddar broccoli soup and caesar chicken salad.

What is your favorite place to go on the weekend? A: Meet with friends.

Tell me that last movie you saw and enjoyed. A: Moneyball
