Q: How has Mathnasium motivated your child?
Parent Answer: OMG, he LOVEs the rewards! The first reward he saved for was a french fries pillow. Crazy, right?! That was a couple years ago when he started. Now, he gets a quick reward like a candy bar and other times, he saves for the bigger items like a scooter or a kindle.
Q: What do you find rewarding about your child’s experience at Mathnasium?
Parent Answer: First off, he loves going! That was so unexpected since he disliked math. Notice I said disliked (past tense)! He no longer dislikes it. Thanks Mathnasium for helping him understand math and teaching him that he can succeed in math, just like he does in sports. Extra practice gives him the edge!
Q: If you were a student at Mathnasium, what reward would you want to earn?
Instructor Answer: Definitely the drone! It looks like so much fun!
Q: What are you working toward right now?
An 8th grader: I want to get into Stanford! I was at a small school and I thought I was exceptional at math! I switched to a larger private school and found out I was "One of many" in higher level math. I want to play golf at Stanford but I first need to get accepted based on my academics. Mathnasium is really helping me understand math.
