Nora grew up attending Fairfax County Public Schools and graduated from Westfield High School in 2021. She has studied physics at George Mason University, and is currently taking a break from pursuing her degree to explore teaching as a potential career path. Nora loves supporting students as they work through topics that once felt “impossible.” She is especially drawn to Mathnasium’s structure, where she gets to see students’ confidence grow as they master challenging concepts, and she enjoys showing students, particularly high schoolers, how math connects to everyday life and to science. Outside of the center, Nora is an avid gamer, an artist, and occasionally cosplays for conventions!
Ben's journey in education began at the Indianapolis Zoo, where he volunteered with marine animals and answered visitor questions about wildlife and conservation. That experience sparked his interest in teaching and sharing knowledge in impactful ways.
At Mathnasium, Ben loves seeing how students grow and progress through the program. He brings a passion for education and a lighthearted spirit to every center he supports. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar (even if a bit poorly), spending time in nature, and exploring new places.
Jeff holds an Economics degree from James Madison University and later earned a Master’s in Education from George Mason University. He taught math at both the high school and college level for a decade before stepping into leadership roles in national restaurant brands.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife of 28 years, their two dogs, and visiting their three grown children.
James discovered his love for math during middle and high school and pursued it further at the University of Virginia, graduating in 2000 with a degree in Mathematics. He went on to serve seven years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraftmaintenance officer, where he began tutoring homeschooled children and saw firsthand the challenges students face with math.
Inspired by those experiences, James returned to UVA to earn his MBA from the Darden School of Business. Today, he combines his leadership background and passion for problem-solving to help students build confidence and overcome math anxiety through Mathnasium.
