Zee Setash holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education from James Madison University. With four years of experience teaching 4th grade, Zee brings a strong command of math fundamentals and a genuine love for helping students learn. Mathnasium has been a natural fit, offering Zee the opportunity to meet students at their level and focus on their individual needs.
Zee finds joy in those “Aha!” moments when a concept clicks and students realize their own potential. Outside of the center, Zee is a big fan of musical theatre and video games.
Anna earned her degree in Math with a minor in Education from Marymount University. She began at Mathnasium as an instructor and steadily advanced through roles including Education Coordinator, Assistant Center Director, and Center Director before becoming Area Manager for the Centreville, Reston, and Tysons locations.
Anna’s passion for math and education has made her a vital member of the team. She brings energy, leadership, and a deep commitment to student success. When she’s not working, she loves playing soccer, spending time with her dog Ranger, and going line dancing with friends.
Ben's journey in education began at the Indianapolis Zoo, where he volunteered with marine animals and answered visitor questions about wildlife and conservation. That experience sparked his interest in teaching and sharing knowledge in impactful ways.
At Mathnasium, Ben loves seeing how students grow and progress through the program. He brings a passion for education and a lighthearted spirit to every center he supports. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar (even if a bit poorly), spending time in nature, and exploring new places.
James discovered his love for math during middle and high school and pursued it further at the University of Virginia, graduating in 2000 with a degree in Mathematics. He went on to serve seven years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraftmaintenance officer, where he began tutoring homeschooled children and saw firsthand the challenges students face with math.
Inspired by those experiences, James returned to UVA to earn his MBA from the Darden School of Business. Today, he combines his leadership background and passion for problem-solving to help students build confidence and overcome math anxiety through Mathnasium.
Jeff holds an Economics degree from James Madison University and later earned a Master’s in Education from George Mason University. He taught math at both the high school and college level for a decade before stepping into leadership roles in national restaurant brands.
Now back to his roots in education, Jeff brings passion and experience to his work at Mathnasium. He enjoys helping students find success in math while leading a team committed to excellence. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife of 28 years, their two dogs, and visiting their three grown children.
