Tony graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Finance and opened Mathnasium of Mt. Pleasant in 2014. A lifelong mentor and coach, he’s passionate about helping students build real confidence through math.
As a father of three, Tony believes math isn’t just about passing tests—it’s about learning to think. He’s proud to lead a center that helps students develop number sense and discover their full potential. When he’s not at Mathnasium, you’ll find him playing golf or chess.
Edward is a lifelong Charleston resident and a graduate of Buist Academy and Bishop England High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from Clemson University in 2007. He has worked extensively with Mathnasium in Mt. Pleasant and Summerville, including several years as Director of Education.
Edward is passionate about helping students understand math deeply and appreciate it as a subject to be enjoyed—not feared. He looks forward to continuing to guide young learners toward success and confidence in their mathematical abilities.
Michelle served in the U.S. Navy as an Electrician’s Mate and later graduated with honors from The College of New Jersey. She currently works as a substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students throughout the Charleston area and enjoys connecting with students of all ages and abilities.
Since joining the Mathnasium team in 2020, Michelle has brought dedication and enthusiasm to every session. She finds joy in teaching all levels of math and helping students gain both skills and confidence along the way.
Emma is currently majoring in Biology at the College of Charleston and will begin her nursing degree at MUSC next semester. Since 2019, she has been a valued member of the Mathnasium team, known for her ability to connect with students and support them across every level of math.
Emma is passionate about helping students overcome challenges and take pride in their achievements. Her calm, encouraging approach makes her a favorite among learners working toward greater confidence and understanding in math.
Adam holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Western Carolina University and has extensive teaching experience in both classroom and tutoring environments. He previously taught math at Trident Technical College and currently works as a content editor for math software at Hawkes Learning.
Since joining Mathnasium in 2019, Adam has brought deep subject knowledge and a love for problem-solving to his role. He enjoys making complex topics accessible and helping students discover the logic and creativity behind math.
