Katelyn is a senior at Granada Hills Charter High School. In her free time she enjoys crocheting, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. She has been working at Mathnasium for a couple of years and enjoys helping kids be more confident in their math skills.
Maya is a recent UCSB graduate and has been a part of the Mathnasium team for several years. She is passionate about helping students build a strong foundation in math and grow their confidence through learning. Outside of academics, Maya enjoys spending time with friends, learning new skills, and exploring new hobbies whenever possible.
Brandon is a sophomore at LA Pierce College and enjoys solving problems, whether it is math, coding, puzzles, or many more. In his free time, he loves to play soccer, read, sketch architecture, or just hang out with friends. As a student and tutor, math has always been an essential part of my daily life. His favorite part about math is that it is universally teachable, which is why he enjoys sharing it as much as learning.
Elizabeth is a sophomore at Pierce College. She loves building students’ confidence in learning new concepts and guiding them toward their full potential. When she’s not tutoring, you can find her reading historical fiction, listening to pop music, or scrapbooking
Sharjeel is a sophomore at CSUN. He loves to listen to music, go out with his friends whenever he can, and play basketball in his free time. He wants to explore the field of science and loves to learn whenever he can. He loves math since it is a universal language anyone can use.
Logan, a freshman at CSUN, has a genuine passion for math and enjoys introducing students to new concepts. He finds great satisfaction in tutoring, especially when he can help students achieve the success they deserve in their classes. Outside academics, Logan enjoys playing guitar, going to the gym, and working on robotics projects. He aspires to pursue a career in engineering where he can use his knowledge of math to the fullest.
Amelie is a junior at Chatsworth Charter High School. Amelie's upbeat attitude and love for math allows her to connect with students and help them not only understand, but enjoy mathematics. In her free time, Amelie can be found playing video games, practicing taekwondo, or volunteering at school events.
Hoss is currently studying for the MCAT as he prepares to apply to Medical school. He is driven by his passion for healthcare and helping others. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, playing guitar, and lifting weights. Hoss finds joy in assisting students to understand complex concepts and strives to make learning both engaging and fun.
