It’s a bleary, snowy Thursday night. The sun has far set, school day long over, and the kind of weather that requires 3 pairs of gloves and shoving your hands as deep into your pockets as they go. A few days before a nice couple day break midway through the semester, nearly the weekend, and all that seems to be calling to you is a nice warm blanket, some hot chocolate, and to relax for a little bit.
Many people are doing exactly that, but if you look inside of our Mathnasium, you’ll see students all the way from early elementary to high school working and studying. They finished there long school day, had busy afternoons filled with sports and extracurricular activities, then grabbed their backpacks and textbooks and made their way over to Mathnasium to work on math.
Parents invest their time, money, and energy into enrolling there students and students work extraordinarily hard in coming rain or shine to study math. Why such an unwavering commitment though?
When people come to Mathnasium, they come for so much more than to understand how to do their 12’s facts or solve systems of equations. They come to change their future, their confidence, and inevitably their lives.
Mathnasium is about so much more than helping your student increase a grade, we enable student’s to feel confident, often for the first time ever, about math. We give them to boost they need to be able to walk into class and walk into test saying to themselves “I’ve so got this!” This newfound confidence in math leaks into every other area of their lives as well. Often we find students not only increase grades and understanding in their math class but other subjects as well. They have a confidence not only in math, but in themselves. Their whole demeanor changes, a once shy student suddenly lights up and becomes excited about learning, and excited about math.
They work hard and what once seemed daunting now seems fun, exciting, and the next challenge they know they can tackle. Mathnasium has helped students reignite the motivation to push deep into their school work. Students are able to feel that they can apply colleges, go to their dream school, and feel that their dream job is now attainable with the newly built sturdy foundation of a math understanding.
When you enroll your student in Mathnasium, you are doing so much more than helping them get good grades in their math class: you are helping them feel confident about themselves, feel empowered, and give them the tools necessary to reach their dreams.
