Laurie is an experienced educator with degrees in Mathematics, Teaching, and School Administration. She has taught math and science at both elementary and high school levels and also worked as a systems programmer and instructional coach. Laurie spent five years teaching in the United Arab Emirates, where she supported students through the Abu Dhabi Education Council.
She brings her love for adventure and learning into the center every day. Having visited over 26 countries, Laurie believes that curiosity fuels growth, and she is passionate about helping students discover confidence and success through the Mathnasium Method™.
Ebony holds a degree in Communications from Alabama State University and has four years of tutoring experience with students in grades K–9. She also served as a cheerleading coach and digital media specialist, earning recognition as Partner of the Year from Montgomery Public Schools.
Ebony is passionate about student development and brings energy and creativity to every session. She believes in helping students find joy in learning math and is always ready to celebrate their success. She enjoys connecting with students through shared interests and encouraging them to believe in their potential.
