Education: A.A. - Kalamazoo Valley Community College Related Experience: Spent many years doing applied math (real world problems) in the business world. Fun Fact! Ms. Lisa spends her time as an abstract painter. Math Topic she would like to learn in the future: Calculus


Education: J.D. - Loyola University School of Law Related Experience: Research attorney; substitute teacher and librarian at the University of Chicago Lab Schools Fun Fact! Ms. Elaine has fun being in nature. Her favorite vacations include hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, hearing her voice in Echo Canyon, New Mexico, seeing the wildflowers in Door County, Wisconsin, and strolling through Central Park in NYC! Math Topic she would like to learn in the future: Statistics


Education: B.A. Mathematics, Biochemistry concentration - Carleton College Related Experience: Academic research at the University of Louisiana Math Department Fun Fact! Ms. Michelle accidentally walked onto the set of the movie Pitch Perfect while doing research in Louisiana! Math Topic she would like to learn in the future: Measure Theory and Algebraic Topology


Education: B.S. Mathematics, B.S. Economics - University of South Carolina Related Experience: Tutored math while attending college Fun Fact! Mr. Andrew enjoys going fishing while visiting his family in Florida! Math Topic he would like to learn in the future: Mathematical Finance


Education: B.A. - University of Kansas Related Experience: Passed both the Probability and Financial Mathematicas actuarial exams. Fun Fact! Ms. Ashley has hiked the Great Wall of China! Math Topic she would like to learn in the future: Physics


Education: B.A. Mathematics- Wellesley College (Expected) Related experience: Tutored math throughout high school Fun Fact: I love to hike with my dog and dance ballet Math topic she would like to learn: Abstract Algebra and graph theory


Education: B.S. Mathematics, M.S. Computer Science Related experience: Tutored Math and ACT Prep during undergrad. Previously worked at a Mathnasium in Roselle, IL. Fun Fact: Ms. Ishita spent a summer in Cusco, Peru, and visited Lago Titicaca, the world's highest lake. Math topic you would like to learn: Stochastic Process


Education: PhD candidate in Mathematics from Northwestern (almost done!) Related experience: I've tutored on and off for about 15 years, and have been a teaching assistant and lecturer for undergraduate mathematics at Northwestern for the last 7 years Fun Fact: I'm from Australia, and I once managed to catch a brief glimpse of a platypus in the wild! Math topic you would like to learn: QFT in a curved background spacetime


Education: Sydney is currently a Junior at Lane Tech. Related experience: Sydney has tutored grades K-8 after school for several years, along with volunteer teaching math summer school to rising kindergarteners. Fun fact: Sydney enjoys creative writing and has read some of her work on stage. Math topic she would like to learn: Advanced probability and statistics


Education: B.S. in Physics from Brandeis University with minors is Mathematics and Computer Science. Related Experience: Seth has been teaching calculus online since 2014. Fun fact: Seth's favorite part of his day is the smiling children at Mathnasium. His favorite number is 137. Seth was the team captain for the fantasy sport of Quidditch in college. Math topic you would like to learn: I would love to spend more time studying Tensor Calculus.
