Mathangi is the Owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Clarkston. She holds an MBA and a Master’s in Economics, with over 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare. Her passion for helping kids reach their full potential inspired her to open the center.
Mathangi is dedicated to making math accessible and enjoyable through the Mathnasium Method™. She believes that with the right approach and caring guidance, every child can build confidence, close learning gaps, and thrive in math and beyond.
Mark is a retired high school math teacher with over 34 years of experience, including 22 years teaching AP Calculus. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from Northern and Eastern Michigan University.
A proud Clarkston local, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for helping students develop a true understanding and appreciation of math. He enjoys making complex concepts clear and guiding students to their own “aha” moments in a caring and encouraging environment.
Justin is a recent graduate of Wayne State University with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physics, and a minor in Mathematics. He has taught as a professor and teaching assistant and is passionate about helping students succeed in math.
He creates a comfortable and engaging learning environment where students feel supported in their learning journey. Justin enjoys guiding learners as they build confidence, deepen their understanding, and discover the power of problem-solving.
Vincy holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Chemistry with a Mathematics minor and a Master of Science in Physics from Oakland University. With over 10 years of tutoring and teaching experience, she is dedicated to helping students achieve their math goals.
She enjoys making math approachable and empowering students to succeed through clear instruction and caring support. Vincy believes that with the right guidance, all students can build a strong foundation and grow to love math.
Cayden recently graduated from Clarkston High School, finishing fifth in a class of over 500. This fall, he will attend the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
With over five years of tutoring experience, Cayden brings a strong math background and a love for teaching. He earned 5s on the AP Calculus AB, BC, and Statistics exams and enjoys helping students tackle challenges and build confidence. In his free time, he runs cross country and track.
Skylar is a student at Grand Valley State University with a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. She has over 3 years experience tutoring math to students from 2nd grade to college. Math has always been her favorite subject in school and loves being able to grow her students math skills. She teaches at her students pace, so they can fully understand and feel confident about each concept.
