Daniel Fendley
Owner
Daniel holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky, College of Law (2004) and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Wake Forest University (1999). Daniel worked as a prosecuting attorney focusing on criminal and child neglect cases. He currently serves as an elected District Court Judge for the 12th judicial district in Kentucky. Additionally, he is excited about being a multi-center owner of Mathnasium Learning Centers in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Daniel spent two years as a secondary school educator. Daniel's experiences in both the courtroom and school settings are unique to Mathnasium. Having majored in history while studying calculus in college, Daniel also knows the critical importance of a strong mathematics education. Regardless of a student's chosen profession, a solid foundation in analytical thinking skills is vital to success in life. The term "Mathnasium" means birthplace of knowledge. In accordance with the founders' mission, Daniel is honored to bring the Mathnasium Method of learning to students in Southern Indiana as a means of unleashing their potential as math students, future professionals and lifelong critical thinkers.

Mike is a retired scientist who loves to teach. While he was working full-time, he also taught part-time at the University of Louisville for over 10 years. He taught various courses in Meteorology and Computers. At home, he tutored children in everything from Arithmetic to Calculus. Today, in addition to working as an instructor at Mathnasium, he also teaches at Ivy Tech. Mike is married, with one adult child, and lives in Jeffersonville. His hobbies include gardening, hiking, music and being a self-avowed science geek.
Callie Saperston
Instructor
Callie recently moved to Louisville from the Chicagoland area and is currently a first-year PsyD student at Spalding University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in both neuroscience and psychology from Carthage College and has been tutoring children in everything from Elementary Math to Algebra 1 for almost five years. She ultimately plans to practice as a pediatric neuropsychologist, and she loves working with children and watching them learn and grow. Her hobbies include trying different coffee shops and spending time with her friends.
Reese Martel
Instructor
Reese is currently a senior at Borden High School. She is on track to earn her academic honors diploma and plans to study Biology at Indiana University next fall. She is very passionate about math and working with students. Her favorite part about tutoring is when students begin to understand something for the first time, sparking an interest in math that replaces fear of math. In her free time, Reese enjoys playing sports, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.
