Linda

Linda

Center Director/Owner
Linda has a Master's degree in math and has taught and tutored children of all ages. She is enthusiastic about helping children to truly understand math by teaching it in a way that makes sense to them. She is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to children in the community.

Eric

Assistant Center Director
Eric has an Associate's degree in Computer Science and Japanese. He loves working with children, explaining new concepts, and finding the right approach for each student. He enjoys watching movies, programming, and playing games in his spare time. He has always loved math and enjoys sharing his passion with others.

Justine

Instructor

Justine has a Master's degree and loves helping children learn math. She likes trying different ways of explaining a concept until it makes sense to a student. Justine hopes to help students achieve their math goals and make them laugh along the way.

Annette

Instructor
Annette has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. She loves music and sewing, and speaks French fluently. She enjoys working with students, and has worked as an Instructional Assistant and substitute teacher for the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. She looks forward to helping students at Mathnasium.

Josh

Instructor
Josh has a Master's degree in civil-structural engineering. He has always had a passion for math and frequently collaborated with other students and engineers to better understand the subject. He enjoys encouraging kids and adults to always continue developing their math skills. His favorite part about tutoring is seeing that "light bulb" moment in kids when a math concept finally clicks.

Ke'olani

Instructor
Ke'olani enjoys playing sports, learning, and spending time with family and friends. She is happy to be working at Mathnasium to gain experience and to learn math methods that can be applied to any level of math. She likes spending time with children, helping them understand concepts and hearing their interesting stories.

Maya

Instructor
Maya swims and plays water polo, and teaches children swim lessons. She enjoys working with children. She is excited to be working at Mathnasium.

Alexa

Instructor

Alexa is taking classes at Diablo Valley College. She enjoys reading, singing, and traveling with family and friends. Alexa loves to work with kids and enjoys working at Mathnasium.

Jianying

Instructor

Jianying has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in math from UC Berkley. He enjoys reading about math in his spare time. "Math is patternology" is his favorite quote about math.


Kayla

Instructor
Kayla is in her last year of her Wildlife and Fisheries degree. Her main focus is Marine Mammal conservation. She has worked in childcare and nannying for the last several years. She enjoys spending time teaching children. Some of her favorite hobbies are caring for plants and reptiles, and traveling.

Mariam

Instructor

Mariam is a junior at Clayton Valley High School. She is taking AP Calculus and is also involved in leadership. She likes to play volleyball and enjoys spending time with family. Mariam's favorite hobbies are running and reading. She loves hearing what kids have to say and teaching them math.

Santi

Instructor

Santi is a senior at Clayton Valley High School and plans to major in mechanical and aerospace engineering at UC Davis or Cal Poly SLO. His favorite hobbies are robotics, mountain biking, reading, and building with Legos.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
