Great news! We’re pleased to share that our center will re-open for in-person instruction on June 27th. We can’t wait to see all our students again! Your child(ren) will have the option to learn in the center or continue online with Mathnasium@home — whichever option works best for your family. Additionally, families will have the option to switch the mode of instruction between in-center and @Home at the beginning of every calendar month.
As always, your child’s well-being is our top priority. The decision to re-open was made carefully, in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
In the interest of everyone’s safety, we are limiting the number of students who can attend the center at any given time so that we can observe appropriate social distancing guidelines. As such, in-center sessions need to be scheduled through our calendar — we apologize that walk-in sessions won’t be possible for the time being. As part of the same safety precautions, the parent area will be closed until further notice. For each session, we will accompany your child outside for drop-off and pick-up at the curb while maintaining an appropriate distance.
We are also implementing a
comprehensive disinfection and protection protocol to make sure that all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. In addition to the existing hand sanitizing dispensers, our center will take extra precautions like disinfecting each student binder and work station after every session, placing tissue boxes at every table and more. Until COVID-19 related restrictions are in place, our new safety protocol will require every student who opts for in-center instruction to:
- have their temperature checked before entering the center
- wear a face mask while within the center
- wash their hands with soap thoroughly upon arrival and before they leave the center
- cooperate with social distancing rules while within the center
