José is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Cutler Bay and a lifelong math enthusiast. With a strong passion for teaching, he loves using the Mathnasium Method™ to help students reach their full potential by making math make sense. José believes math should be both understandable and enjoyable for every learner.
Outside of the center, José enjoys playing and collecting video games. He’s always ready to connect with students through shared interests, especially if it involves Pokémon. His favorite is Torterra!
Jacqueline is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who brings deep expertise in supporting students with diverse learning needs. She guides the team at Mathnasium of Cutler Bay in using best practices to reach every learner effectively, helping create a supportive and fun learning environment.
Jacqueline grew up in South Florida and is proud to give back to her community. She’s a big fan of Pokémon (especially Snorlax), loves cookies, and enjoys spending time with her two French bulldogs.
Bernie has been passionate about education and mentorship since his teen years, supporting students in both academic and enrichment settings. He now helps students understand math fundamentals while also mentoring young adults transitioning out of the foster care system.
A graduate of a German private school, Bernie is currently pursuing a degree in Business with a focus on Marketing. He loves learning across a wide range of topics, from philosophy and history to technology and animals, and enjoys engaging students in curious conversation.
Adriana brings energy and enthusiasm to her role at Mathnasium of Cutler Bay. With a love for both math and working with kids, she finds joy in helping students gain confidence through the Mathnasium Method™, which she describes as fun and easy to understand.
When she’s not teaching math, Adriana enjoys dancing, listening to music, and watching movies. She looks forward to creating a welcoming and engaging experience for every student she works with.
Hope is a recently retired Miami-Dade County Public School math teacher with over 35 years of experience in the Cutler Bay community. She brings a positive, encouraging approach to math instruction, grounded in her many years of helping students succeed.
Her name reflects her teaching values: Honest, Optimistic, Patient, and Enthusiastic. Hope continues to make a lasting impact by helping students develop confidence and a love for math at Mathnasium.
