Peter Chang is an accomplished education professional with over a decade of international education experience in Korea, China, and the United States. He has held roles ranging from “Star” Teacher, to Managing Director, Lead Curriculum Developer, Teacher Trainer, and Academic Director. Peter played a key role in helping thousands of students gain admission to elite schools worldwide through innovative ESL, ELA, and test prep programs. He holds dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Davis. In his free time, Peter is an avid fisherman. Now based in the United States, Peter brings his global expertise to support the next generation of learners and leaders.
Simon is currently a 3rd year student at Cypress College studying to become a mechanical engineer. He loves instructing students and peers, and has always had a passion for helping them reach their academic goals. Aside from math, he loves playing video games on his computer and finding new music artists to obsess over.
Allison is a student at California State University Long Beach working towards her degree in civil Engineering. She loves encouraging and helping peers and students towards their academic and personal goals. Outside of math, she enjoys going to the beach and listening to music.
Claire is a third year student at Cal State Long Beach majoring in Mathematics Education. While there, she discovered her passions for mathematics and music performance. Her goal is to ensure that students feel comfortable with mathematics, rather than afraid or angry. Eventually, Claire plans to teach algebra and/or calculus in a middle/high school. Aside from doing math, Claire spends her spare time playing drums, cooking, and listening to music.
Tatiana is a student at Cypress College majoring in mechanical engineering and computer science. Her goal is to ensure that students are comfortable and confident in their math skills. In Tatiana's spare time, she likes finding new things to bake, trying out new coffee shops, and reading historical books.
Allen is a student at Cerritos College and is majoring in nursing. He loves his role as an instructor and always looks forward to helping and instructing students who come through the door. Besides teaching, Allen enjoys sports and music, and hanging out with his family and friends.
Arnav is a recent graduate from Cal State Long Beach and majored in computer science. He has always been interested in math and loves to teach, so his role as a math instructor was a perfect match. His aim is to make learning more enjoyable for his students and help them succeed in their goals. Besides math, he is passionate about music and cars.
Reese recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor’s in English and plans to pursue a career in massage therapy. Their goals are to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and foster curiosity and excitement in the process of learning. Beyond teaching, Reese enjoys drumming, video games, and rock climbing.
Benjamin is a student pursuing a career in business and engineering. He enjoys seeing students succeed after being able to understand a challenging topic. In his free time, Benjamin likes to spend time with friends and family, go camping, and work on robots.
Nuha is a Data Science major at Cypress College with a passion for supporting students in their math learning journey. She aims to make math approachable and enjoyable for everyone she works with. In her free time, she enjoys reading and discovering new cafés around LA.
Saurav is a student at Oxford Academy and loves teaching. He inspired by his third grade teacher who changed his perspective on education. In his free time, he also likes sports, music, and baking.
William is a student pursuing a career in biology to become an ophthalmologist in the future. He enjoys meeting new students and seeing their growth in math. In his free time, he likes to play tennis and can solve a Rubik's Cube in less than 30 seconds!
