Ram is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Daly City. Before opening his center, he worked as a Software Engineering Manager and Software Architect with IBM Corporation. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida and brings both technical expertise and a passion for learning to his work.
Having struggled with math as a child, Ram is deeply committed to helping students truly understand math by teaching it in a way that makes sense to them. Married with two daughters, he also volunteers at local schools and loves supporting his community through education.
Cassidy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with a minor in Business Administration and is currently pursuing advanced studies in the field of Medicine.
She has been a valued member of the Mathnasium team since 2021. Cassidy is passionate about helping students discover that mathematics can be engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding. She especially enjoys working with children and takes pride in celebrating every achievement—large or small—as her students build both skills and confidence.
Joe is currently studying engineering at the College of San Mateo. He is committed to identifying even the smallest skill gaps in students and ensuring they achieve a comprehensive understanding of the material. Joe believes that helping students succeed in exams not only enhances their academic performance but also boosts their confidence in mathematics. He takes great satisfaction in witnessing students’ progress and hearing about their success on tests. Furthermore, he enjoys seeing students transform their interest in math into a true passion.
Nadia holds a Bachelors of Art in Fine Art with a minor in Digital Art and is currently pursuing further studies within Respiratory Care.
Nadia aims to help students understand that everyone is capable of doing math, even if it appears difficult at first. She enjoys helping students build strong foundations for mathematical learning while encouraging and celebrating their progress as they succeed and gain confidence in their own skills.
Athena graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication Design. She enjoys helping students and strengthening their math skills by making math concepts easier to understand.
Athena believes that a job of an instructor is to not only teach math but also to encourage students to challenge themselves and have fun in the process.
