Assistant Director
Gabe is currently attending San Francisco State University, where he is studying Criminal Justice. He has always thought that schools have always over complicated math and that has become a roadblock that discourages many kids who would have loved the subject. Gabe strives to make math simpler for the kids at Mathnasium so they can be confident in all levels of math. He enjoys working at Mathnasium because he is happy that he can help kids gain confidence in their math skills as well as become passionate in the subject.

Lead Instructor
Jan is currently attending Skyline College as a Biology Major. Being the eldest sister and cousin of her family, Jan has always loved working with kids. She was tutored and has aided her own previous tutoring center when she was younger. Because of this exposure, she can relate to how students may feel and has developed a passion towards making tutoring an overall comfroatable, easy and fun way for kids to succeed in their math classes and future endeavors.

Kaitlyn is currently a Senior at Terra Nova High School. While maintaining a high GPA, she also does many extracurriculars, such as marching band, badminton, and recycling club. Ryu is a Junior at San Francisco State University that is currently an Applied Mathematics major. He has been tutored at various centers when he was younger so he knows how the students feel and can relate to them. His goal is to get students to start loving math, since he himself used to hate math but has grown to love it.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
