Kendall attended Stevenson University for Math and Science Education, with an emphasis on 4th through 9th grade STEM. An avid connoisseur of snacks, one of her joys in life is Coca Cola! She also loves cats and all sorts of films and TV shows!
Kendall loves teaching math because math helps build everything! She loves that she gets to help others make sense of their world!
Her favorite subject to teach is from Prealgebra to algebra I because going from number sentences to expressions and equations is so fun and a big mile stone!

Interesting Fact: Kendall played Basketball all the way through high school, and even coached for a short while!
Jesse is 23 years-old. In his free time he likes to snowboard and play soccer. He also likes to spend time with loved ones.
He loves working on math skills with children and bettering their knowledge in the subject. His favorite grade level to teach is 7th grade, because he believes that it is a very influential age group.

Ethan loved math his entire life and have always been pretty good at it. He graduated South Carroll High School in 2024 and is now working towards a certification in personal training. He spend all his free time lifting weights or watching anime.
Ethan love teaching math because its awesome! He believes that most of the time people don't like math because they don't understand how simple it is. Ethan feels that it's an amazing feeling to change someone perspective on math and watch them slowly understand concepts more and more.
Ethan's favorite math subject teach is 100% algebra. He states that algebra is the foundation of all high level math and is the first subject where you realize you can do a lot more with math than you think. He loves that you can use algebra to solve an infinite amount of problems.

Interesting Fact: Ethan competes in powerlifting at a national level. He also has a 5 foot ball python who is the most precious thing in the world!
Mariama attended UMBC for a major in Information Systems. During her free time, she enjoy designing graphics, baking, and watching the Great British Baking Show. Coffee Is Her Life and she doesn't want to spend a day without it.
She loves working at Mathnasium because she thinks every child deserves a chance to be taught in the way that is best for them. Math is used within most aspect of life and it does not have to be daunting and frustrating. Her favorite subject is algebra. She always found solving problems to be so much fun and exciting. There is so much joy in finding what x equals.

Aisiri is a junior at Linganore High. In her free time, she loves reading, playing ping pong, and watching Disney TV shows. Her passion is for art, especially oil painting and therefore she's hoping to double major in Computer Science and Studio Art!
She loves teaching math because it's rewarding to see students overcome a challenge that they have been working so hard on. Her favorite subject to teach is Algebra or Pre Calculus because it contains all the fundamentals math has to offer. Along with this, these courses are challenging and are satisfying when overcame.

Logan is currently a student at Linganore high school while also taking classes at Frederick Community College. She love art, reading, and music, and hopes to become a forensic biochemist when I graduate.
Logan loves teaching math because of its simplicity. She loves that there is only one answer and that you are either right or wrong, but also that there are many correct ways to reach the same solution.

Rohan loves watching shows, reading, and playing chess. Rohan plans on going into theoretical physics for his career.
Rohan thinks it's an amazing feeling to use and challenge your understanding of a subject to give someone else a lightbulb moment and bring them the same level of understanding on a subject that you do. He believes sharing knowledge is one of life's many pleasures.
His favorite math subject is calculus because it is the most fun/abstract type of math to learn and think about. As well as it is the most usable math in the real world given how things are rarely uniform.

Jillane is a Senior at South Carroll high school in Carroll County, MD. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with others, playing soccer and being creative.
Jillane loves teaching math because it is like a puzzle. She likes the fact that each part of a problem is a small piece of the puzzle and when you have completed all the pieces you have an answer.
Jillane's favorite grade levels to teach are elementary school. She loves to engage younger kids and help them develop a interest in math at a young age.

Nikki is a senior at Glenelg High School whose favorite subjects are psychology and statistics. Her hobbies include reading, painting, gardening, making gifts for her friends/family, and playing badminton.
One of the reasons why math is among Nikki's favorite subjects is because when she gets a math problem right or makes a math connection, she feels a sense of pride and satisfaction. She wants other students to experience the same level of joy she gets from understanding math, which is why she loves teaching it so much.
Her favorite subject to teach would be algebra because much of it is about solving puzzles and creative thinking, and it's really satisfying for her to see students work through algebra problems and figure out solutions using unique approaches.

Charlotte is a junior at Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD. She enjoys reading, painting, and playing video games in her free time. She loves animals and is hoping to major in Animal Science in college.
