Sam graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University and earned an MFA in Theater from Columbia University, combining his analytical thinking with creativity. Before opening his first Mathnasium center in Los Angeles in 2012, Sam worked as an actor, writer, tutor, and public servant. Now based in Georgia, he also owns Mathnasium of Morningside and serves on the Mathnasium Franchisee Advisory Committee.
Sam believes deeply in the power of the Mathnasium Method to engage students’ creativity while building number sense. He is passionate about making math meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable for every child who walks through the door.
Chase earned his Bachelor of General Studies from Indiana University, with concentrations in Music, Physics, and Sports Communications, and later completed a certificate in Audio Engineering from Berklee College of Music. A Georgia native, he has taught audio classes and worked with local music programs since high school. Chase joined Mathnasium in 2016 and quickly became a valued leader on the team.
He enjoys helping students discover the logic and beauty of math in an encouraging, structured environment. Whether coaching math skills or discussing sports stats, Chase strives to make learning both relatable and fun.
Eleanor is a senior at Decatur High School currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC. She has always had a passion for math and loves sharing that enthusiasm with students at Mathnasium.
She finds joy in helping others build their confidence and believes that math becomes much more approachable when students are supported and encouraged to ask questions.
Heather is a senior at Decatur High School. She has been working at Mathnasium for two years. In the fall she will be attending Emory University where she will be majoring in math.
Liora is a student at Decatur High School. She has been an instructor at Mathnasium for almost a year. In her free time, she loves to read, watch movies, and dance.
Raja is a senior at the Paideia School. She enjoys playing the trumpet and piano in her free time, as well as playing chess. As a former Mathnasium student, she remembers earning rewards by completing her assigned material.
