Leslie Rosenthal, also known as Mrs. R, brings over a decade of experience teaching math in Massachusetts public schools. She has worked extensively with English Language Learners and students with disabilities. Leslie holds a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Education from Boston University.
She loves showing students how new math connects to what they already know, and especially enjoys teaching Pre-Algebra. Leslie believes students learn best through conversation, reasoning, and explanation. She lives in Westwood with her husband, toddler, and their dog, Oreo.
Keith serves as both Lead Instructor and Director of Student Experience. He is known for his patience and creativity, always finding new ways to make math engaging and fun for students.
Keith studied Mathematics and Classical Civilization at Trinity College, with a minor in Religious Studies. He has tutored at Boston Children’s Hospital and previously worked as an archivist, using his math skills to support campus organizations. Outside of Mathnasium, Keith enjoys reading history and cheering for Boston sports teams.
Isaac is a senior at Westwood High School with a strong passion for math and science. He plans to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering and become a doctor. Isaac earned perfect scores on the PSAT and SAT Math sections and multiple AP exam scores of 5, including Chemistry and Statistics.
At Mathnasium, he enjoys helping students discover the beauty of math. Isaac also created a student-run SAT math prep program at his school. His interests include piano, video games, science research, and basketball.
Sally is the Director of Parent Outreach and holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University. While at Columbia, she led academic outreach events and sustainability initiatives, gaining valuable experience in leadership and teaching.
Sally has tutored students in Physics, Calculus, and other subjects, and enjoys helping families connect with the center. Outside of Mathnasium, she spends time visiting museums, making hexaflexagons, and enjoying time with her family.
