Mitakshra Kumari is the Center Director and Owner of Mathnasium of Denton. She holds a bachelor's degree in science and an MBA in marketing, with a background in customer service, sales, and retail ownership in both the U.S. and Canada.
She first discovered Mathnasium in 2021 after seeing how her colleagues' children improved their grades and enjoyed solving mental math games. Inspired by the positive impact, she is passionate about helping families in Denton and Corinth experience the same success and confidence through math.
Aidan is our lead instructor who is finishing a degree in math major and plans to continue into a master’s program while teaching locally. What began as a practical tutoring job quickly became a passion.
She finds joy in helping students grow more confident and understand math in new ways. Aidan comes from a long line of educators—his mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister have all pursued teaching, so education truly runs in the family.
Andrew is a highly motivated and driven currently pursuing a double major in Finance and Financial Planning at the University of North Texas. He has worked with Mathnasium for 2 years in his hometown before moving to Denton.
Andrew is very passionate about Math and aspires to become a successful financial advisor in the future. His hobbies include cooking, mixed martial arts, and music.
Ilana is currently in her third year at UNT in Electrical Engineering and has always had a love for math. Coming from a family of educators, Ilana loves to share her passion for learning with others to spark their creativity and enthusiasm towards their educational journeys.
She believes that any and everyone can become an academic high achiever with the right foundations and support systems. She hopes to instill the same encouragement and compassion she has with her own students in hopes of inspiring them to excel in their academic journeys.
Anything is possible with a growth mindset, and she believes Mathnasium is an excellent proponent of this idea.
