Jayden Tran is a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno, and one of the first students to attend this Mathnasium location. Now, he’s proud to serve as a Lead Instructor, helping others experience the same growth and confidence he gained through the program.
Jayden is pursuing his bachelor's in biomedical engineering. Outside of school and tutoring, he enjoys working out, reading, playing video games, and spending time with friends. He’s excited to help students strengthen their math skills and enjoy the process of learning.
Tara Joshi is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, where she is studying Mechanical Engineering. As a Lead Instructor, she enjoys watching students grow in their understanding and confidence with math. She especially loves when a concept finally “clicks” for them.
Tara brings care and patience to every student session. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with her family. She believes that helping students enjoy math is one of the most fulfilling parts of teaching.
Boryl Nestorov is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Nevada, Reno. He joined Mathnasium because of his love for math and his passion for helping others understand it. He finds it especially rewarding to see students grasp new concepts and grow in confidence.
In his free time, Boryl enjoys going to the gym and mountain biking. He hopes to pursue a career in automotive engineering and brings curiosity and focus to every session with his students.
Kyle Perlich joined Mathnasium in September 2023 and is currently pursuing a degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing. He enjoys sharing math strategies that help students tackle challenges with clarity and confidence.
Kyle's long-term goal is to become a pilot. When he’s not working or studying, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and flying planes. He brings focus and enthusiasm to each session and is proud to help students build a strong math foundation.
Elijah is currently a high school student. What he likes most about being a Mathnasium instructor is teaching students the necessary math skills to improve or advance in school.
In his free time, Elijah likes to go hiking, travel, and read. His favorite place he has been to is London.
Ashwin is currently a senior in high school. He loves working on calculus and fractions.
In his free time, he likes to read and play games with his brothers.
Jade is currently working towards her master's in Business Analytics. In her free time, she likes to ice skate, swim, and jet ski.
For Jade, the best part of being a Mathnasium tutor is helping others learn more about math and seeing students' progress.
Micah is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She loves having the opportunity to meet and work with students of all kinds of personalities.
Outside of work, Micah enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Teyla is currently a senior at Galena High School. She enjoys teaching students math and loves to see them understand topics well enough that they can enjoy the content too. Teyla hopes to share this enthusiasm with students so they can see how fun math can be!
Nirav is currently a senior at Galena High School. He enjoys teaching students math and seeing them improve their proficiency.
In his free time, Nirav likes to ski, play games, and explore the outdoors.
Lydia is currently a sophmore in high school. She enjoys teaching math so they can enjoy it like she does!
In her free time, Lydia enjoys playing tennis and guitar, and spending time with family.
Santiago was born and raised in Reno and am currently entering his second year at UNR, where he is studying finance. He joined Mathnasium because he has always enjoyed working with numbers and math, and appreciate the opportunity to help others while continuing to develop my own skills.
In my spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, going to the gym, and playing video games.
Keeli is currently in her Senior year at Bishop Manogue High School. She joined the Mathnasium team because she wants to help students love and understand math as much as she does. Outside of school and work, she loves Cheerleading, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
Keeli's favorite part about Mathnasium is getting to know students and seeing the real difference she makes in their academic journey.
