Here's a cheer for our September Student of the Month, Lukas E.! He has been a long-time hard worker and this past month, he made MAJOR improvements in his math ability (over summer no less!!)! Our instructors love working with him, and he always puts in his best effort! Congratulations Lukas!!
Juliette was selected as our Student of the Month because she has shown great "grit" in tackling challenging topics - showing determination and willingness to ask for help when she needed it! Over all, her can-do attitude allowed her to finish an incredible number of Mastery Checks and make fantastic progress in her math skills! Kudos!!
Pre-Algebra is typically taught anywhere from the 5th - 7th grade in local schools. However, grade level (or even classroom grades) don't always equate to readiness for Algebra 1 - especially given the long-term effects of the pandemic.
