Q: What helps students in your center stay motivated?
A: The rewards and creative approaches taken by the instructors to keep things fresh and fun!
Q: Tell us about the reward cabinet!
A: Our reward cabinets are full of awesome games, toys, and snacks! Our Reward Cabinet Manager goes the extra mile to make sure the rewards are always stocked and full of anything the students request :)
Q: How do students earn prizes from the reward cabinet?
A: Students earn rewards by filling out punch cards. They get punches on these cards from doing worksheets, homework, or having discussions about cool math tips and tricks with their instructors. Once the card is filled out, the student can use them to get rewards!
Q: How does your center celebrate student success?
A: On top of the obvious high five, we celebrate student success by giving extra punches if they do something awesome whether it's, doing well on a test in school, completing a difficult homework problem on their own, or becoming our student of the month! We also celebrate their success in their extracurriculars by attending their swim meets, plays, basketball games, etc.
Q: What is your favorite student success story?
A: While we are proud of all of our students, a recent success story is when a student recently had dinner with the dean of their middle school because of the student's work ethic and amazing performance in school. He made the honor roll two times in a row, so she invited him to make pizza with her and a couple of other kids at his school! We were super proud of him to have received such a high honor. "
