John Robertson

Center Director

Meet John, a Durham native with a Bachelor of Science in Math. With six years of experience spread across public school teaching, university teaching, private tutoring, and teaching at Mathnasium, John has seen and helped a wide variety of students succeed in math and school. No matter the student's needs and capabilities, John is always ready to meet them exactly where they are and get them to the next level.

Through school, John was always great at math, but could never tell anyone why or how he was able to succeed where others struggled. That changed when he learned the Mathnasium method of instruction, which he testifies "finally put into words all the tricks I was using to ace my math classes". John is confident that everyone, young or old, can do just as well in math as he did and will see the same beauty he sees in the numbers.
