Eric holds a B.A. in Mathematics from California State University, Northridge and has been with Mathnasium since 2015. He brings a love of numbers, creativity, and connection to his work, driven by his passions for music, photography, and travel.
Eric enjoys helping students build confidence and discover how fun and meaningful math can be. He finds the most rewarding part of his role is seeing students transition from feeling unsure to genuinely enjoying math, thanks to the supportive, engaging environment Mathnasium provides.
Maya has worked with Mathnasium since 2014, following a decade of experience as a high school teacher. She holds an M.S. in Chemistry and degrees from both Occidental College and UCLA.
She is passionate about helping students grow into advanced math learners by equipping them with the tools they need for long-term success. Maya’s interests in astronomy, roller skating, and knitting reflect her creative and curious spirit, qualities she brings into every aspect of her work with students and families.
Kristin is currently studying Computer Engineering at Pasadena City College and joined the Mathnasium team in 2024. Her attention to detail and problem-solving mindset make her a strong contributor to daily operations.
She is proud to support an environment where students build math skills and confidence at the same time. Kristin believes that helping kids succeed in math builds habits of perseverance and self-belief that will benefit them for life.
Kenny has been part of the Mathnasium team since 2021 and graduated from Eagle Rock High School. He enjoys reading, music, and video games, and brings patience and creativity to his instructional style.
At Mathnasium, Kenny loves helping students find new ways to approach problems and feel empowered by their progress. Watching students gain confidence and curiosity about math is the most fulfilling part of his role.
Ian holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Lewis and Clark College and has been with Mathnasium since 2018. He brings a deep appreciation for both analytical thinking and personalized learning.
Ian values Mathnasium’s holistic, skill-focused approach that meets students at their level and fills gaps in understanding. He believes in guiding students toward long-term success by helping them master core concepts and enjoy the journey of learning math.
