Hi,
My name is Ricardo Isaac. I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Data Science at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where I continue to deepen my passion for mathematics. For me, math isn't just a subject—it's a way of thinking, problem-solving, and having fun. That's why I love being an instructor at Mathnasium. I enjoy helping students build confidence in math and showing them that it can be enjoyable and rewarding. Sharing this passion and watching students grow is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.
Hello,
I am currently a senior studying mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics at UTEP. I
enjoy activities that challenge me both mentally and physically; my hobbies include martial arts,
working on cars and motorcycles, rock climbing, and playing tennis and pickleball. Since I was a
kid, I've always had a knack for taking things apart to understand how they work. That early
curiosity persisted and ultimately led me to pursue a career in engineering. Through my studies,
I've come to appreciate that math is more than just abstract theory. It is a practical tool used to
explain and design the systems we interact with every day, such as vehicles, refrigeration
systems, and infrastructure, among others. With this in mind, it's clear that math serves as a
gateway to endless learning possibilities.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

Are you interested in changing lives through math? We're looking for outstanding individuals with a high level of commitment who are passionate about teaching math. Find out if there's a Mathnasium position that's just right for you!
