Hi! I’m Ivy. I was born in Manhattan, New York, moved to Florida at the age of five, and recently moved to El Paso in 2019. I am currently attending Americas high school and participate in extracurriculars such as being swim team captain, member of student council and key club. Growing up I’ve always looked forward to math class and found it unchallenging to learn. Teaching kids math has not only been a passion of mine. It has shown me how to be patient while teaching young individuals by expressing the values behind the subject and applying it to the outside world. Thank you for choosing Mathnasium and allowing me the pleasure to work with your child.

Hello, my name is Joe Smith. I was born and raised in El Paso, graduating for Socorro High School. I have an Associate's in Computer Science from EPCC and a Bachelor's from UTEP. I've always been interested in the STEM fields and was able to compete in certain subjects when I reached high school. I managed to place in the state level twice in both Medical Math and Technical Drafting. I was able to take advantage of the opportunities my school offered due to my love of math and I hope to inspire other students to do the same. I'm excited to be part of the Mathnasium team and hope to be positive influence in your child's pursuit of math.
