Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Englewood

Matt Diamond

Mathnasium is a concept the Diamonds truly believe in, and allows them to use their combined unique talents and interests to give back to the local community by helping our kids succeed. The Diamonds and Mathnasium share the common belief that every child can succeed in math if they're taught in the proper way, in the way that child needs to learn. They have owned Mathnasium of Teaneck since 2018, and have developed a reputation for delivering the highest quality education, demonstrating genuine care and concern for his families. His students have seen drastic improvements in their math skills and test scores. As parents of three daughters (who are in middle school, high school AND starting college!) they understand not only the importance of math skills in life, but they know the stress that can arise when a child struggles in math. Their girls are three different learners and so Stefanie and Matt recognize that the Mathnasium Way not only helps kids learn and progress in school, but builds confidence which may even be more important. Stefanie and Matt have lived in Teaneck for 22 years, and are involved in their schools and synagogue. Many of Matt's proudest moments have come while coaching local children in the Teaneck Soccer and Teaneck Baseball Organization over the past 13 years. He has seen how much a child can improve over the course of a season on the field, and is excited to see and contribute to that same growth each year from the Mathnasium students. Matt has a background in business and finance, spending 18 years in corporate finance. Stefanie works with children every day as a photographer and brings 16 years of marketing experience as well. Matt will be providing support and leadership to our staff, and looks forward to getting to know you and your children, while helping your children succeed and build a love for math.
