Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Kyle Ratner

Assistant Center Director

Kyle grew up in Fairfield County and studied Environmental and Ecological Engineering at Purdue University. Known for tutoring nearly every subject in high school (except French and Latin!), Kyle now brings that same energy to Mathnasium of Fairfield and Wilton.

He finds it incredibly rewarding to see students’ faces light up when they grasp a concept and loves being part of a team that helps kids succeed every day.

Max Howard

Assistant Center Director

Max is a Westport native with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Purdue University and a Master’s from Texas Tech. With experience teaching during graduate school, Max is passionate about helping students tackle challenges and grow in confidence.

He sees math as a powerful tool for lifelong learning and is proud to empower students through his work at Mathnasium.

Matthew Bodine

Instructor

Matthew Bodine is passionate about helping students unlock their potential in math. Though he studied Political Science at the University of Southern California, his academic journey began with advanced math courses in high school, including honors and college-level calculus.

Originally from Westchester County, Matthew credits his father with sparking his early interest in math. He has experience tutoring one-on-one and worked as a bilingual teaching aide at the Greenwich Spanish School. At Mathnasium, he’s excited to help students grow and gain confidence while continuing to expand his own teaching skills.

Paul Rado

Instructor

Paul is a retired planner and scheduler who now finds fulfillment in tutoring math. Since joining Mathnasium of Fairfield, he’s enjoyed working with both children and adults to build their understanding and confidence.

Paul values the relationships he forms with students and takes great pride in their progress and achievements.

Ishita Agrawal

Instructor

Hi, I’m Ishita Agrawal! I’m currently a student at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, and as someone who loves both STEM and the arts, I participate in many groups including honors societies and the music department. I’m a high honors scholar, and I tutor students in a variety subjects excluding Latin and French. I enjoy passing time with my friends and family, and spending time doing the things that I love!

The Fairfield Mathnasium location is an incredible area to teach at. The environment is warm and friendly, and the other instructors are extremely kind. I love helping students learn to be passionate about their education, and the Fairfield location allows me to do just that!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
